That ad gets me laughing every time I see it. The variety of things that they "put into the tank" is just stupid! They must think that OTT readers are stupid enough to click on the link and read it. I click on the link in another window and then ignore it for a few minutes. That way, OTT gets a commission for the advertising, and the advertiser is being fleeced of their bank account.
The number is false. Ketchup in your tank would decrease fuel consumption by 100%, not 55%.

I was thinking today how long it would take for me to recover the cost of buying a $50,000 electric vehicle as compared to continuing to drive my Toyota Yaris. Factoring out the crazy price scenarios that would cause society to instantly crumble, it would probably take about 25-30 years of putting gas in it just to pay for the electric vehicle.

It will last a hell of a lot longer than an $18000 battery replacement.
My 27 year old Miata runs like a top. My 3 year old string trimmer needs a new battery, cheaper to buy a new trimmer ;(
There are tons of battery powered tools at auctions, garage sales and flea markets, they can hardly give them away. Disposable junk, just like battery powered vehicles.
Our empty car lots are overflowing with these, don’t know why people ain’t lined up buying them…
So, to generate the ability to recharge the expensive cars battery still relies mainly on natural gas. Coal tied almost with the renewables. All agenda based and showed some of the reasons for the current Russia concerns on natural gas.

My Tacoma is 25 years old and drives like new. I'm 50 and only had 4 vehicles in my life, all Toyotas, and still own 2. Also, I don't drive much.
I'm betting the battery in an electric vehicle will not last near as long as a internal combustion vehicle engine. To replace the battery will cost several thousand dollars. I just don't see the financial gain in spending $50,000 or more for an EV to save on buying gas.

So, China is 1 with resources, Russia number 4. USA 7th So guess where are the electric car components are coming from.
Not hard to research and connect the dots of the agendas creating all this quagmire with fuel prices.
Id bet the infrastructure wont be built with electric or wind driven Heavy equipment either.
