I'll check the range of motion on mine and get back to you. It appears yours currently moves slightly in excess of 90°, which would be somewhat less than mine. Fully curled I can toss tools and things in it when it is lowered and they don't fall out. It dumps so the bottom of the bucket goes beyond perpendicular to the ground.

Here is the information on my bucket. I'm guessing it is similar to most others. The tractor was parked on my bridge, one place that's very level. The bottom of the bucket and surface where the level was clipped onto are perpendicular.

Don't know why I didn't zero the level instead of starting at 1°. Duh. Anyway, fully rolled forward the bottom plane of the bucket went to 7.5° beyond vertical when the stops were hit. When curled back, it went 53.3° past horizontal. These readings were taken with the bucket fairly low, and should be close to reality. Since the arms weren't at exactly the same height for the three readings, there could be an error of a degree or two due to the arms swinging in an arc.

Please let me know if there are any other measurements or pictures you'd like.

@Paul Allwood : I was always wondering what the purpose of those linkages are (blue) but I have the feeling it is to increase the angle range.

I think those links could give a greater range of motion, but the TL720 loader specs on my L35 are +45° and -45°, less than Chim is quoting. The big advantage is the cylinders maintain a greater mechanical advantage at the travel extremes, since their force vectors stay at a larger radius from the pins. This reduces the compression on the rods when back dragging with the edge of the bucket, which we all know is a no-no 😉.

P.S. I think my travel exceeds 90°, although I'm not there to check it. Down low, the bottom of the bucket will go vertical and will roll back far enough past horizontal so that the spoils don't fall out. The spec is with the arms raised and by then the leveller has started limiting the bucket from fully curling.

I think you're planning on building your own bucket so this would't matter, but if you're going to be using commercial attachments it will. That's the angle of the attachment plate when the bucket bottom is horizontal. Typically, over here, that angle is somewhat less than 90°, I think. If you deviate very far, some things won't work as intended.
