Siesta, don't know if you can get to his site, but he builds implements to clear Texas land! You might find interesting. https://www.facebook.com/HebbronvilleMachineShop
I have seen attachments like this with other companies. His dozer rake design for the skidsteer is nice. There are a ton of companies that make root plows for dozers/tractors.

Land clearing practices differ from each property/use/soil/etc and if under USDA grants. My preferred way to clear property with good soil is to use a dozer and then followed up with a root plow then rake it

Bluebonnets are gonna be plentiful this year, of course I need to disc up the soil and replant Bermuda again in April.

I had to google Bluebonnet because I was not familiar with that plant. They are pretty. I’m guessing, nothing will eat them.

Received another half inch of rain early this morning. 1in total YTD for 2024, 4% of the yearly rainfall average. Drought joke... this week has had the most rainfall this year! (For 2024 lol).

That same system is dropping snow on me. I hope this trend continues.

TB, how much are the weather folks predicting for your area? I think I saw this morning we might get 1-2", but only clouds now.

Most are saying 1-3”. I did see a 3-6”. Depends on your weather app. The pic is from my farm (Eureka area). I’m in Andover. Looks to be about 2” here now & snowing. A very wet snow.

Ran out of grass!
I sympathize with you. I “was” in the same boat. We received about 6” of snow (1” of moisture) after Thanksgiving. About an 1”/week for 3 weeks. Then, a real nice 2” rain that ran off because of soil saturation. 1 pond is full & the other is within 3’ of running over. My creek is flowing again. Last Summer/Fall, I swore I would not complain about mud ever. I’m being kept out of the fields because of the wet conditions. Ordinarily it would be a curse, but I wish the same for you. No harm intended.
