What's the deal, you been putting extra in the offering plate? ;)

That amount will do some good, not those 4/100"s of an inch rains.

I know right!!

Currently there is a ton of rain in deeper South Texas and in the Rio Grand valley, I just need that system to shift 30 to 40 miles North.

The fishing trip was a success. Posted a few pics on the https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/hunting-and-game-posts.37055/post-679007

Now back to a few farm duties. I had a tree cause 3 barb wire breaks, so I will I need to finish cutting that up and then splicing them back together.
I really like fishing from a kayak. There is something about having a Bass tail-walk a few feet away, at or above eye level that is just plain cool. I will say your rig is better than mine. Most of my fishing is done on ponds under 20 acres, with most about 1-2 acres. Now, if I can just get some rain so I can get back to fishing. 😖

Nice.

Need to make it down to the coast. Hook up on some Red Bass, known as Red Fish. A lot tougher fightin fish than the fresh water Bass.

After the rain awile back, I noticed I must have tilled through an old trash site from the 1930/40's. Picked up enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket more half way full.

It's a shame, that companies bring commercial bees down in our area and don't provide a water source. I'm going to contact a very large land owner on Monday. I know they have hundreds of hives on a property near me. I also know they don't turn on the water troughs when cattle is not present in those grazing areas. I checked yesterday and there is no livestock.

I don’t know much about bees, except, I like honey. I would not have thought about their need for water. Maybe you could make some hives & the bees would come live with you. 😜
With the cattle, chickens, deer, horned toads, hogs☠, ……. maybe you don’t need more critters to take care of with the limited resources. You are a good steward of the wildlife around you. Keep up the good work. 👍

Is the Bermuda grass growing?
In some spots, just didn't get the rains when it was much warmer for the aggressive growth. I will have to get with the hay farmer guy I know, pretty sure I'm gonna have to do it again. I'm seeing a lot of weeds emerging, that's competition for young grass seedlings also. The month of November, had 12 days cooler than normal.

I did get an USDA update for the area earlier today, their predictions saying that December is supposed to bring ample rains and bring us out of drought conditions. We shall see....

Were like 9 plus inches of rain in the hole YTD avg rainfall, it was that much under last year as well.

The forecast for honey bees is still very active, my buddy that showed up to hunt can't believe all the bees around my water sources.

We had an inch of rain, followed by 8” of snow, followed by another 1.1” of rain all in a 2 week period. Kinda sloppy right now for our deer season. But, I’m NOT bitching. I’ll take sloppy over dust. All that moisture put a little water in 1 pond. Come on El Niño.

Less than 5 miles from the farm.
Some dumbass lost 3 bales, native grass, no stickers. I'm gonna need to find someone to drive my truck and trailer if I'm gonna recover these bales.
