New to the site. Needing A wiring Diagram for a l3830. Mainly the tach input from alternator. Auction buy tractor says enough. Thanks
It really helps if asking for a electrical diagram that you include the EXACT sub model you need it for, A GST Cabbed does not have the same wiring as a DT ROPS. 😉

Also that tractor doesn't use the Alternator for the tach, it uses a RPM sensor.

Dt rops. Ok thanks, I was told that it read from the alternator.
I don't know of any Kubota's that have ever used the alternator for the tach signal.
Most of these older models used mechanical tachs.
Newer models used engine sensors.

I just did a quick check of the BX1870 WSM (WorkShop Manual) and the schematic-diagram in in there.

HINT: The WSM has THREE parts.... look in part3
that's really just the connections to the cluster, not the schematic. A proper schematic would have parts listed, interconnections and CPU pinouts..... something any tech needs to troubleshoot and repair the cluster.

Im looking for the safety switch controlling the high/low range on a M 120
I think the answer is a lot more complicated that just "it's right here" answer.

Read this thread, any similarities?

You need to get yourself the WSM (aka Service manual).
