    My new workhorse.

Congrats! We've had a L3750 for 17-18 years. Big 5 cylinder diesel is very smooth. Lot of weight too. Real easy on fuel and doesn't need to be run at real high rpm to get the work done. Ours has around 4000 hours on it & is rough, but still goin strong.

    m5400 hydraulic oil

Bulldog is right! Does this rig have a loader? If so, you will see better performance with SUTD2.

Kubota L4701 vs Mahindra 2545--which to buy

No real advantage, except HST feels sluggish on hills, seems to rob power and uses more fuel. I just like gear drive better.

BX vs B vs Used L3800

I bought a slightly used L3800DT 5-6 years ago a absolutely love it. Needed a larger tractor, but stuck to the budget. I will get a larger rig some day, but will keep the 3800 just because it works so good. It will also move mid size (4x5) round bales just fine.

    KUBOTA BX2680 Idle Speed

Not sure for that model, but seems high. Both mine idle well under 1000.

L3301 Feeling Top Heavy / Tippy

If using the loader, you Need counter weight on the 3 pt. 800-1200 lbs will turn it into a different animal.

    Oil Viscosity question

Rotella is good stuff! I use T5 15-40 in mine, but from all I've read the 5-40 is just fine, or maybe better in any diesel motor.

Kubota L4701 vs Mahindra 2545--which to buy

HST works for a lot of folks, but not for me. I much prefer straight gear or shuttle.

Kubota L4701 vs Mahindra 2545--which to buy

A few years ago I looked very hard at Mahindra, then bought a Kubota. No regrets at all.

    R4 vs R1 on B2601

I'll go against the grain here, I prefer R1 Ag tires. It's a traction thing.

    Alternate Parts sources

That's not much difference between your dealer and the online source, pretty close. Shipping from the online source? Good to be able to check & compare though.

    Rotella T6

I see no reason not to use it. It's what I run.

    Got tipsy today!

Easy, if the FEL is on the tractor, Ballast should be on the 3 pt hitch.

    L2501 interim bigger tractor

No way I'd pay that much for a rig in that condition with that many hours on it.

    L2501 interim bigger tractor

I also would not buy a new smaller tractor knowing I needed/wanted a larger one in the next few years. Makes no sense at all.

    Large shavings in hydraulic filter

The filter stops that from happening.
