Hi All, I am new to Kubota, and thought I'd come in here a boast a bit. I recently purchased a home and some land after retiring from the Marine Corps. Land is about 8 acres, gently to moderately sloped. Decided I needed a compact tractor to take care of the land, and also to plow driveway in the winter time. After much careful research (a lot of it on here) I decided to purchase a new L2501. So one afternoon a couple of weeks ago I took off early from work and made the 2 1/2 hour drive to the dealership. The salesman I had talked with previously was with another customer, so I was talking with the manager at one of the sales desks. As he was putting together the quote for the tractor and implements I wanted, I noticed a white board on the wall that had "L3750 w/snowblower, $7500.00". Now, I am all about bigger, but didn't want emisisons problems, hence the 2501. I asked about the 3750 and he said they had just gotten it in on consignment but it looked good for an older tractor. My salesman was done with the other customer at this point and we head out to walk the lot and look at the 2501. While checking it out, I couldn't help but think about the 3750. I asked him if we could take a look at it and we did. HOLY COW! is all I can say. Much more tractor. I peek at the hour meter...711. Barely broken in! 45hp...nice! Then there it is, the snowblower...a Erskine 721 FM. What a beauty! I look over the tractor some more, fire it up...verify hour meter still works. No leaks, only some minor oxidation and a bit of wear on the bucket. Snowblower looks new! I ask them to get it in the shop and go through it and if it checks out we'll deal. Apparently the owner had passed and the kids just wanted to get rid of it quickly. About a week later, all is good, I make the purchase. Didn't know too much about the snowblower, just glad it was front mounted. After some research, very pleased. There just isn't too much out there about the L3750 though. What I have found is good news. I have started to get my property in shape, and am more than pleased. I will never need this much tractor, but for the price, I basically bought a snow blower and got a tractor for free. If anyone has any advise for this tractor, let me know!

Sounds like you found a deal and it is better to have too much tractor than not enough. Around here you don't see too many good used tractors so congrats and have fun.

Welcome yo OTT and congrats on the new tractor. Now all you need is a cab for doing the snow blowing.

Wanna bet? There is a mile long line of guys who have said that only to be proven wrong.

Anyway, good move and good luck.
Kinda like you never have too big a barn/garage.
That would have been a no brainer, I would have written the check right then before they sold it out from under me.

First off, Thank You for your Service to our country. Second, I think you bought the snowblower and got a tractor to go along with it. That type of snowblower is quite expensive, you made out very good with that deal. Now Enjoy!!

Thank you for the kind replies. I left out that the day after I initially looked at it, and was waiting for the shop to go through it, I had my wife run in and leave a deposit. Thank goodness I did, the day I went to finalize the purchase, another salesman told me that he was unaware that it was on hold and sold it to someone else, and that he had to call the guy while he was pulling money from the bank to break the bad news that sorry, it was already sold. If anyone is in or near Spokane Washington, I can't say enough about how well Adams Tractor took care of me.

thank you for your service!

the more you play with the tractor... the more you will like it.

seems like as long as its "play" & not your "job" its always fun!

The 50 series were pretty much bombproof. KISS was implemented at that time.

I myself am very partial to the 40 series of Grand L. Just couldn't justify owning one.

Im not thrilled with DPF, but the problems are few and far between.

Congrats! We've had a L3750 for 17-18 years. Big 5 cylinder diesel is very smooth. Lot of weight too. Real easy on fuel and doesn't need to be run at real high rpm to get the work done. Ours has around 4000 hours on it & is rough, but still goin strong.

Thank you, welcome, and that's a fantastic deal! The loader and snow blower are probably worth what you paid for the whole package.
Consignments can be great deals- that's how I got my... cough, cough... John Deere.
