Our old L3750 is in need of a new hydraulic pump, but it has well over 3000 hrs on it and was severely neglected for many years. I think the aluminum housing/steel gears have held up well for the circumstances...
If the dealer can find nothing wrong with the parking brake, there wont be any warranty repair. It's a very tough call for a company when dealing with collision damage on a tractor & is rarely ever covered under warranty.
You didn't hear the tractor sneaking up on ya?
I know with both ours you can put on the parking brake a little or a lot. In other words light pressure on the peddle when setting it wont hold on a hill, where more pressure will hold. Guess Kubota is calling operator error?
I had a L245 for years, was hard to turn the wheels when sitting still, but easy if rolling. Is this how yours is? You really should get a jack under it and lift the front end up.
I paid 15K for a 2011 L3800DT with 14 hrs on it, from a dealer (no tax here on farm equipment), but that was 3.5 years ago. Prices are up considerably now... I'd do it again, love this little rig!!!
I don't know what it is, it's in the shop and raining. I just went up to the lil' old country store where I get my fuel and asked, lady said this stuff is what everyone uses. It's a clear amber gold color. No issues since.
Mine did this several times last summer. I treated the fuel, changed the fuel filter and all has been fine since. Now all the fuel is treated year around.
I've run Wix for years without issue, hadn't looked to see if one fits the tractors, will do that soon. Rotella T6 5/40 is what goes in the tractors here.
