    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

DOH! Good thing we had this discussion. Before even reading your reply I woke up this morning and realized the flaw in my thinking. Stacking these valves will not work because the fluid on the non pressurized side of the cylinders won't have any place to go. Thanks for helping me see the light...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

The side ports are normally open so fluid just passes through them when the solenoid is not energized. The valves have four 5/16" holes and the ports align. All that is needed to stack them is placing o-rings in the port reliefs and bolting them together. Fluid will then pass through both...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

It will still be the same number of hoses. One section is going to be plugged. One hose from the PB pressure will go in the bottom of whichever section I decide to use. That will pass through both valves and one hose will go back to the return. One quick connect will exit out the top of each...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

That's a good find on that valve and plate. I bought my first diverter from Bailey but it was more expensive back then than they are now. Had I found that in the beginning I would have gone that route but I already had one single valve and another ordered. I don't see a huge difference in...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

Oh, and I was looking at some install videos and found a WR Long install on an L series that had 3/8" lines and a Land Pride install on a BX that was using 1/4". I will probably be fine with 3/8" but I haven't made a final decision.

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

The main reasons I am stacking two valves is the double acting valves sell for over $300 and I already had one of the single action valves. Kubota actually lists the valve for $1980 on their parts site. The whole kit is listing for over $1200 now. Pretty amazing they want more for the valve than...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

I asked TTWT if the Kubota third function lines on his LX3310 were 3/8" or 1/2" and he said both the supply and return were 1/2". When I searched the intraweb for hydraulic flow rates on 3/8" lines the answer came up over 20GPM. I think the LX is only 5.5 GPM. It seems to me that 3/8" should be...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

You wouldn't happen to have links to a source for both would you?

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

I don't think he is saying those two sizes are interchangeable. What I read it to say is the PB port is -08 ORB and the return connection on top of the transmission case is BSP 3/8. The diameter difference between the two is about 3mm and the pitch is 3 TPI difference also...

    LX3310 Power Beyond Banjo Sizes???

Anybody know the sizes of the two banjo connections for the power beyond tube on a LX3310? I am planning a home brew third function and I need to figure out adaptor sizes for those connections. Push come to shove I will pull the tube and measure but if someone already has the info that would...

    JMR Stump Bucket

Picked this up off FB for $500. I gave the lady an extra $50 for bringing it to my house since she was 2.5 hours away from me. She was passing by my way anyway so it worked for both of us. These are supposedly made by Amish but I can't really find much detail online abut them. I did find one on...

    Quieting your garage doors

I filled all my panels with the thin bubble wrap type insulation a few years back and got the same results. The stuff weighed nothing but I still had to add some tension on the springs. I tried to order a new insulated door back in covid when one of the springs broke and that turned out to be...

Kinda a dumb question for a "real machinist", but…….here it is anyway.

All of the dial indicators I have ever used with an adjustable contact point had a detent you just had to push hard enough to overcome. Apparently some of the Mitutoyo units have a clutch lever on the side you need to push for adjustment...

    Leveling out a field

I have also had some luck pulling a drag behind my tiller. The right side of this photo was done without the drag attached.

    Leveling out a field

A tiller and drag work great but you have to get it down to dirt. The last time I did a significant area I had to use my lawn sweeper to get all the tilled up grass out before the drag would work. With the grass still in the mix it would bunch up and drag ruts in the freshly tilled ground. I...

    My Big Lawn Mower!

I would say your property is not a good candidate for a regular finish mower. You might want to get that one with the swinging blades. Even at that those blades will take a beating on a rock.

    Weak air conditioning

Not used any parts on my Kubota AC but I have used aftermarket parts on my cars and backhoe without any problems.

    Weak air conditioning

Ideally not more than 30 psi on the low side or 250 PSI on the high. Results can vary depending on humidity and other conditions. When the compressor clutch turns off the pressures will begin to equalize.

    Weak air conditioning

I would evacuate, vacuum, and recharge with the correct amount of refrigerant to start.

Wheel Weights on The Cheap For BX Series ......

Those look good. Free and cheap barbell weights are hard to beat. I have a 120 lbs on a scraper bade and 300 lbs on my box blade. The only set I paid for was $40 and included the weight bench I sold for $30. I still have left over weights and bars and one bench laying around in the barn. The...
