I had my outdoor antenna and rotator mounted on the mast left behind from DTT for years. It was on the peak of the garage so just above the building. I got tired of looking at it and one of the connections corroded so it's in the attic now in a fixed position.

They are simple and secure and will get the antenna just above the building if you screw it on at the peak.

for what it is worth department

there are two very strong magnets to be harvested out of a "dead" microwave oven
I found a lot of uses for them

That's what we used at our shop. Digital TV doesn't want them back if service is ended, so people just throw them away. We got ours for free that way and mounted a good small Channel Master antenna. An antenna amplifier may also help if you are far from the OTA towers.

They do sell some insanely strong magnets now, so maybe rig something up with one, just to have "proof of concept", then I would probably do a more permanent install.

re: Our streaming is free, I do it via satellite internet

Is your 'satellite internet' service FREE as well ? While I don't have a cell phone/smart phone I know that nobody around here offers free cell service.
Yes, I get 'streaming ' on my PC for 'free' BUT I still have to pay the cable company every month for the bits and bytes to get to me.

At least with OTA, once the hardware is bought, watching is free....
I have a both Cell phone and a Internet service, but they are not for the purpose of TV service.
Cell: Making and receiving phone calls, making a receiving texts and all things related to that.
Internet: For dealing with all things computer and computer system related and of course OTT!

My wife works from home 75% of the time and her work pays for for both Internet and Phone and we also have several businesses so I don't "pay" for either service, the business does that. I'm just the lucky stiff that gets to use it. ;)

A Starlink satellite receiver is what I am considering . From what I understand that may be your ticket. Good luck.
Ask me any question at all about Starlink, We are Starlink / Space X First customers and love it, always have, we have 3 dishes.

FWIW, I have used these magnets for a Starlink antenna on a similar metal roof for probably a year now. Was skeptical but gave the magnets a shot. No issues thus far...

Good luck.

Greg
Thanks for that link..!!

That's the type of base i was thinking about.

We're basically interested in over the air reception, its only a weekend camp, so we don't want to get into a service ( Starlink ) where there is a monthly fee.
