Just replaced my fan belt on my BX24 with a variable length link belt from Amazon . Didn't have to move the engine or remove the drive shaft. Took about an hour after the loader, front guard, and the side panels were off. Seems like a very reasonable fix for a miserable Kubota service...

10:1 says it's the welder. Unless it's Miller, Lincoln, Hobart, or a small handful of others, quality becomes an issue. If it's made in China, double the odds of getting good results (and parts)!

I searched for a good used bucket for almost a year with no luck. A new bucket was just under $500 at my dealer, so this seemed like the best plan!

I think the proper design would have been a slightly reinforced 2 piece fan where the mounting bolt segments overlapped. That would have maintained alignment easily and allowed much easier replacement.
