    What were the engineers thinking?

You are welcome, I just see that it had potential to not turn at the inner point and cause accelerated wear at the outer points which could be hard to repair. Thank you for bringing the lost bolt problem to mine. I checked and mine are still there but some of the others the nuts have backed...

    What were the engineers thinking?

Just a thought about your design. Is the kubota style supposed to limit turning forces on the greased inner area where a change like yours could have the pins turning at the outer points too?

Searching for nc/unc cat 1 long lift arm pin

I checked mccmaster carr and they carry a lot of 22 x 2.5 bolts so there is stuff out there. Maybe you could buy a cheap thread pitch gage to confirm

Searching for nc/unc cat 1 long lift arm pin

Is it possible the thread on your pins is actually a metric pitch? That could explain why the neither of the others match the nut. I ran into a similar problem with a chinese made electrical hole punch set that wouldn't fit the common us style hole punches. 7/8" would be just over 22mm, 2.5...

Got to use my DIY diesel generator today.

I installed one of these. It has a ground wire and a lead you wrap around one of your hot incoming utility cables. It has a pot inside i had to adjust after talking to a factory rep as it was too sensitive. I also made a shield out of aluminum wrapping and grounded that, like a Faraday cage so...

Got to use my DIY diesel generator today.

That interlock on the main panel is how I did mine. Anything less like back feeding from the garage depends on you never making a mistake in breaker sequence, not a safe thing. There is also the potential for someone else to do it thinking they are helping you. A circuit feeding in place of...

    L3901 Delivered Today

I have found to take it out of 4wd before backing it into the garage, it is easiest done going forward, stop put in reverse and push down the handle as I let the clutch out. Always goes down easy then.

in the market for a grapple

I guess I am dealing with one of the ones that can't get them. I emailed him this morning after reading your time line. he said mine is looking like September now. Guess I will wait a little longer as I have plenty of projects in the Que.

    Tailwheel for rear blade/rake

I like it! I have a rake and back blade, I may have try making one too. Thanks for the photo update. I have added a cylinder to angle that I switch between the two. I couldn't get it to do the full angle swing both ways with a 20 inch stroke so I have it favoring the right side as I tend to turn...

    B7100 severe frame damage

Is this where they would break when they have a 3 pt backhoe mounted on them without a subframe?

in the market for a grapple

I have a L2501 and ordered a SGC0660 in may. The dealer said kubota recommended the heavier one but as you noticed it is at a loss of capacity. He said most were going with the SGC0660 so I agreed and ordered may 10. It was supposed to be here in mid june. That has been moved to august so I am...

Landpride RCD1884 - Timing Blades and Issues

Just a thought seeing the pictures and you describing blades hitting, while I am not familiar with that cutter do the blades overlap? I see it has a spline and wonder if the manual has a specific place where the flex coupling has to be to avoid hitting between the blades in operation. If it was...

    Tailwheel for rear blade/rake

You might also weld a 1-1/2 solid shaft collar on both ends of another piece like schedule 40 if you can't find the 80. TSC carries shaft collars. I just used shaft collars for the pins to make a narrow trenching bucket for my BH77.

    2 & 1/2 years, battery won’t hold a charge.

Last year I replaced the 14 year old walmart battery, bought new which I had put in my 8N when I changed it to 12 volt and added the electronic points replacement. As it got so it wouldn't hold a charge, I checked the pick and pull near me called Garys-U-pullit in Binghamton , found a year old...

I wonder from the pictures if it got tipped over with the loader raised high. That might be enough leverage to twist the mounts.

    BH77 Leak

First time I greased my BH77 i had to replace several painted grease fittings too. One thing that bothers me is there appears to be no way to grease the swing cylinder pivots. I looked underneath and see some holes and thought the grease fitting had been left off but they appear to be blind...
