    kubota with john deere backhoe??

Should be no problem provided you can make a good mechanical fit and hydraulic circuit. Lots of aftermarket implements out there, no reason a Deere won't work just as good as a Woods or other brand. Post pics.

    Battery size question

I run the exact same Costco battery in my Kubota, F350 Powerstroke, and V10 Excursion. I think it's rated 850/1000 and 100 month warranty for about $100.

Am I on the right maintenance track?

Looks like a nice tractor, I have the same model but is quite a bit more worn than yours. First thing I would do is flip the rear wheel inners around to widen the stance. This will give you more side stability and will still be inside your 6 foot mower. Mine is about 5 1/2 feet wide outside...

Need you wizards' help IDing this FEL

Carb cleaner/lacquer thinner/acetone, etc. will often cut through rattle can paint with no issue. You might try that.

    B7100 running on 2 cylinders

Have you tried cranking with the suspect injector hanging by the line if that's possible? Wondering if it is actually spraying or not.

    Newbie here needs advice between a L185DT & B2150

I would bet the Tractordata entry for the L185 lift is a typo at 2200lbs, more likely 1200lbs. My L245 is listed at 1540lbs for comparison. I personally like the L series, but you would give up some HP and modern features.

    L235 Live Clutch?

An overrunning clutch also allows the engine to quickly drop to idle while the mower or chipper, etc. spins down slowly. This allows for much easier shifting and less wear/tear when changing gear and/or direction.

    4WD working properly?

Looks to me like there are a whole lot of parts on that list that I would certainly question. I hope you do the same. That's pushing $5K, crazy.

    BL4520 Removal?

The loader and BH were not made by Kubota, likely Woods here in the US and installed after the tractor was imported. That's why they are not in the tractor manual. I have a Woods BH manual I can email you if you like. Is the BH mounted on a subframe, or the 3PH? Is the BH powered by the...

    B6000 loader backhoe como

That's a sweet setup! The curved boom makes me think the BH is much newer than the tractor. No matter how small the BH and loader, they still work awesome compared to a pick, shovel, and wheelbarrow.

L4600 HST, wood chipper with a 200lb. flywheel

I have this chipper, needs less HP, feeds itself very well, and a little less expensive. Check your local Craig's List, I got mine new from a local dealer. \http://www.agriease.ca/store/p2/AGRI_EASE_4%22_PTO_Wood_Chipper_WC42G.html

    l185dt loader

Saw this one the other day. Decent pics of a loader "kit" assembled but not installed on a tractor. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/grd/4812406929.html

Not enough lift in 3pt to adjust blade well?

I think you've done a fine job at getting that blade set up sheepfarmer. Best thing you can do now is spend a bunch of time dragging it around until you get the feel for it.

B7100 with a slight mechanical issue.

Glad to hear it looks great inside. I just cringe when I see oil filters painted with the engine, makes me wonder.

    Found something cool today

My family cam to Oregon to log in the early 1900's. My Dad was a kid in the 50's and remembers them having Cletrac dozers.

    L225

My tractor is an L245, similarly sized to yours. I have a 5 foot brush mower. I have a 5 foot box scraper and a 6 foot angle blade. 4 foot anything would be too small in my opinion.

    FEL Forks

I have a clamp on set of Rankin forks that I bought off of CL and they work great. They poke the load way out in front of the bucket, which reduces your lift capacity as mentioned, but my tractor doesn't have the lift to actually bend anything like a lot of folks caution about. Here's a link...

    hydraulic lift failure

I have to say I agree with ShaunRH. Dealer should not take on work they are incapable of, and owes the customer quick service or the honesty to pass on the job. Holding the tractor this long is flat out wrong. I suspect a lot of newer techs don't really have much experience in...
