I as always would weld it up around stem then with a 4.5 inch grinder fix it back to original . Problem solved and yes it aint much I wouldnt weld. handy

Could be a real big deal but he needs to know may be something as simple as a bad radiator cap. I hope thats all .handy

I want to say fess up but do not even start it without a mixture of the proper50/50 antifreeze. GOOD LUCK.:eek: The whistle was probably the whistle telling you there was not any water and antifreeze in the radiator.You better fess up it wont take long to figure out.handy

The shim I was talking goes under arm toward the end (arm sets on this plastic shim) so when you get on knees and look at all the pulleys they line up togather where the belt would run straight. Hope you understand what I am trying to explain sorry :oI cant explain things really well most people...

I agree with eric and sam. I assumed :o(we all know what that means) you checked for debree as they said make sure rad fins are blowed out from inside out and washed out inside engine comp out.and fan works ok. Also make sure you have a mixture of antifreeze 50/50 with the recomended type...
