Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

Agree with this. I had an ongoing issue on with a couple tires on an older ATV. Plugged multiple holes, used bead sealer, but kept leaking down. Turned out to be a whole bunch of micro holes. Not sure how that happens A variety of YouTube product comparisons and other research led me to...

Thanks. After about 4 years with the cams, I'm typically pleasantly surprised to find a gem or two in the footage. Expected it to get mundane... Greg

Sorry, I wasn't suggesting it as an alternative to checking with the community. Just something I have found super useful and thought it was worth sharing. Greg

    Thread size bolt holes L6060

You've likely resolved your problem, but I'd recommend one of these type thread checkers: I used one of these thread gauges for a long time. They get the job done but suck compared to the above. FWIW, Greg

    What's cookin' boys?

I'm feeling a bit ashamed at never having made bacon, considering all the smoking I've done over the decades. This was probably the nudge I needed! Could be self-preservation, because once the wife has it, store-bought may no longer be an option... We love pork belly and had some last night...

Agreed, this is a curious phenomenon. Our boy cat is a complete momma's boy, and the girl is a serious daddy's girl. Follows me all over the place. 🤷‍♂️

    eBay Skid Steer Plates

I tend to agree with this approach. There is no force actively pulling the new "hanger lip" welds apart. The force will actually be pushing the "shim" into the hanger lip. Minor stress on those welds. If anything it bolsters the hanger. .Just MHO. Could change with new information. Hate buying...

    Another Farmer Engineering Project.

I like this strategy and use it sometimes. It's also surprising how many listings I run across that provide the "Make Offer" option. Haggle room varies widely in my experience. Greg

Thanks for the link PHPaul. I've been considering fabbing a SSQA truss boom. At that price, I can handle a little re-fab if the dimensions aren't perfect. Greg

    slot cutting jig

Thank you! FWIW, this one might be more generally useful. I love this thing and use it regularly. Was just a quick and dirty fab for some long forgotten project. But I've used it tons over the years and wish I'd spent more time squaring it up properly, sizing the slot, etc. Greg

    slot cutting jig

Could make dovetail joints in steel that way! 😆 Actually, I may want to control thickness from one side and may employ that. Maybe removing exposed threads. Thanks, Greg

    slot cutting jig

I had been needing an efficient way to cut clean-ish 1/4" slots in some 5/8" stock. Went through a couple less than ideal solutions. Finally fabbed up this nice one for my needs, which seems so obvious after the fact...but don't they always... I had originally cut out a piece of 1/4" plate and...
