    Adding loader valve to bx2370

I'll bet that if the guy at the top totally rocks, everyone who is supporting him is at least as good, and likely even better. If you think about it, I believe you'll decide it would be a safe bet to trust it to him. Heck, if you aren't 100% certain, then just have a private chat with him and...

looking for a sprocket for my front PTO

Sure helped me! I hadn't seen that one, and I've been snarling at the hoses keeping the hood from opening since the third day I got the sweet thing.

B219 hydraulic pump failed. Need help!

I'm sure you folks have resolved this, so I'm hoping to pick up some tips from your experience. My B6100 w/B219 has the same issue. One of the hoses was replaced after everything was painted orange, and the new hose is an inch or two too short -- the hood hits the hoses, not the stops. I'm not...

    Bucket position

Since my bucket is self-draining (see my Piranha bar installation if you don't believe), I don't have to worry about water collecting in it. When I park in the yard, I usually park facing downhill, with the edge firmly bedded, brakes locked together and clamped down, and the tranny in the lowest...

HELP!! I need a skid plate!!

Aw shucks! When I saw the new posts in this thread, I thought Russ103 had finally made it up to WFM's welding shop. He hasn't been on the board for a year and a half - is that enough time to drive a M8540 from Baton Rouge to Porter, ME? Nobody in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, or Tennessee...

looking for a sprocket for my front PTO

barts, have you considered getting a sprocket with the correct teeth and having a local machine shop (or trade school) bore it if necessary, and broach it?

B7100 with a slight mechanical issue.

I can't imagine what gauges you would be adding that would need extra fusing, and I know the LEDs pull much lower amperage than almost anything else on the tractor except perhaps the oil light. That being said, I do like the idea of a fuse block... but weather resistant? I don't know. Please...

    HST saftey switch

Is this a trick to test my memory? (I just read a thread earlier today about this problem with HST machines, even though I have a gear machine. Somehow I recall some pertinent information, so for once in a row, I guess I pass!) Seems that dirt/debris can collect in the HST linkage and interfere...

    Alternative regulator?

Anders, I'm puzzled by this -- you haven't said anything about what might have caused the problem, or how long it could have gone unnoticed. Was there something that was done that may have pulled that wire off (or moved it to the wrong post)? Do you plan to take the battery out to be load...

    Good buy?

No doubt about it, you got a very good deal -- even if you had to totally rebuild those cylinders, you got a very sweet deal! I'm very happy for you, and glad that you bring such happy news to the forum.

    Straping points on L3800 W/FEL

Next-door neighbor had some 4" straps on his trailer. Not black, but heavier than I wanted to fool with. They looked like they were older'n dirt, and not a hair of fray on them. I only ever saw him tying down loads of scrap going to the dump, but I'm sure they would be stronger than I would ever...

    Good buy?

I agree with the Nut, but I'm feeling more generous; I'll give you your $3800, plus 200 bucks for your pain and disappointment.

    Straping points on L3800 W/FEL

I commend your foresight. But I'm stumped how you're going to utilize that inch of space. Could you elaborate, or perhaps to avoid hijacking the thread, post info and pics on what you're doing?

    Straping points on L3800 W/FEL

Yep! However, nobody said anything about once you buy a tractor and attachment/implement you "need", you've only just started to fork over buckets of bucks for "stuff". Shouldn't discovering that have provided a hint? :D

mobile rear remotes- Brainstorm or Brainfart?

Hmm... I think you just relieved me of the insatiable appetite for a hydraulic TL. Thanks for the post! Oh, and in my humble opinion, if you never get better than this with your hydraulic projects, well, fantastic is really an okay result.

    Differential won't stay locked

I'm "ass"uming this is offered for me. While I agree fully with your points, I have a very strong aversion to engaging a clutch when the RPMs are as high as I usually need when confronted with the need to lock the differential. The best solution for my dilemma is to learn to work the hand...

    Average age of OTT users?

 Say what??? Guess that must be some of that "new math" they started teachin when my kids were in school.

    Differential won't stay locked

On the B-series anyway, there's a spring under the pedal. Lift your heel, the pedal pops back up, disengaging the lock. Sort of inconvenient when using the foot throttle, but as you note, that's the way it's supposed to work.

    Confused again

Sorry, dotty, I can't answer you. I'm sure some of the gurus here will sound off soon. Meantime, perhaps you can answer your question yourself by reading the posts in this thread: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18497 Best of luck!
