I just bought a new BX1860 and I'm new to the forum. The transmission fluid is a bit low and needs topped off. The manual calls for "Kubota Super UDT." Do I have to use the Kubota brand or does a store like Tractor Supply, Autozone or RKO sell an off brand that I can get cheaper? I've read the threads that talk about UDT vs. SUDT, but I'm not clear if I have to buy the Kubota brand. Thanks!

Transmissions are not the place to put cheap fluid. Stick w/Kubota and don't worry about it. For the amount of make up fluid you need, it's not worth trying to save a buck.
