When winterizing your MMM, do you guys remove the belt or do you just relieve the tension on the belt... also, is there an easy way to release the tension pulley from the spring?
thanks

I just leave it under tension. Hasn't been a problem after about 7 years or so. The big PITA with is with the bogey wheels, which cost a fortune and are badly designed - I have to replace one every ear or so.

If I recall, to release the tension, there is a swing arm you kind of unlatch.

yes i did. worked! thats one strong spring. so i greased all the zerks, released tension on the belt, replaced the blades with gator mulching blades and scraped the dried on grass from the belly and then pressure washed the whole MMM. stored it away in the shed, and now just waiting for the snow. again, thanks guys for all the help!
