I am doing my 400 hr service and this is, admittedly, kind of an anal question but, is the correct level determined with the dip stick all in or sitting on the axle? WSM was no help.

Those bald face hornet are scary aggressive. I had a nest that was built on a window so you could see into the nest - when they caught me watching they hit the window with such force it was quite unreal.

Seems like we are on the very fringes of the Purple Martins range. I do see some local efforts to encourage them but Audubon lists us as "Breeding Uncommon". Guess I will have to be happy with a swallow or two.
