I sketched out a drawing with the overall dimensions, removed the top part of the ROPS and brought it to a machine shop. They made it to fit and I sprayed it with truck bed liner.

I think I'm going with the 4x6 plywood because I do squeeze through some tight spots in the woods too. I also think it will be easier to mount a mirror and lights. As always, thanks for the responses.

Carl, your thread is the reason I had this frame made. I actually showed it to the machinist. Your canopy appears to be about 4' wide. Do you wish it was wider?

I had a custom canopy frame made for my L3800. It is approx. 49" L X 40" W. I'd like to get some suggestions on the canopy size because I've never been on a tractor with a canopy. I was thinking 4' W X 6' L made out of 1/2 plywood. FWIW, my tractor is about 5' wide. Thanks

I had the exact issue. I spray WD-40 silicone on all the threads on my 3PH in addition to greasing the top link. After a while I got some dirt accumulation on the top link threads and it stopped loosening.

I have this tool box and it is nice. The mount is solid. I like having the additional storage within easy reach. I don't have to turn all the way around to get my gate key out.

To clean my screen,I raise my loader and pull the screen out. I then get an electric blower and blow all of the debris out under the hood. The blower allows me to stand away from the raised loader.

Just purchased a new Toyota Tundra with 10,000 lb. towing capacity. I have an L3800 with a FEL and will be pulling it on a 22' dual axle trailer with a 2" ball. Looking for suggestions on brands of adjustable drop/rise hitches with dual or triple balls. Thanks.

Going to breakdown and get a trailer for my L3800. It will be a regular type not a gooseneck. I'll probably get a 20' so I can haul it with the disk and loader attached. I'm just looking for suggestions... like should I get removable ramps or the ones that are hinged, short sides or no sides...

I have an L3800 which is about the same size tractor. My manual show max weight for a disk is 650 lbs.

I pull a 6' post behind my disk for covering. I chain it to the disk and straighten the gangs. It has always come up.

The blade was up when I was driving down the road. I wasn't trying to grade the road. When I sank the blade contacted the ground because of the angle. I didn't realize it at the time but it prevented me from going forward or backwards and the tires just spun. In the pic, before I just took it...
