    Lifting Rod Won't Stay Tight

The right lifting rod on my 3PH kept getting loose today. I tightened the locking nut with a wrench but it kept working itself loose. I was covering seed with my disk and was not in the float position. I was in in the 5-6 position. Could this have been the problem?

Choices L3800 DT or L3901 HST

FWIW, I've only owned my L3800HST for a few months and it's my first tractor. I can tell you that I am so glad I got the HST. The work I do and the type of property we have requires a lot of backing up. I just step on the pedal. It's nice.

    Disking With / Without Loader

Reporting back after disking this weekend. I moved the vertical lifting arms to the lowest hole and disconnected the bucket. Man what a difference. The disk actually floated and the rocking was reduced significantly. It was much more comfortable to drive. I got some good practice dropping the...

    Sediment in Off Road Diesel

Looked in my two mostly empty, brand new cans and noticed sediment in the bottom of both. I've only owned my tractor a few months and I've always purchased diesel at the same gas station. I couldn't get the sediment out by pouring so I used some panty hose to filter the remaining fuel into...

ordered a Piranha Tooth bar for my BX25D

I just purchased and installed a PTB on my L3800. I bought it for the digging capabilities, not so much for brush clearing. However, I have cleared some brush when I was trying to dig a ditch. It mowed it down quickly. It was my understanding that the teeth could grab the tree and pull it up by...

    Disking With / Without Loader

I agree that my tractor can handle a larger disk. This is my first tractor and I bought it for $350. I figured it would be an inexpensive one to learn on before I invested in a larger one.

    Disking With / Without Loader

My tractor is at the camp but I just happened to have a random pic of the back of my tractor. The lower links are not in the lowest position. I'll make that adjustment when I go back next weekend. I'll also try dropping the bucket when I disk next time and report back. Thanks to all for your help.

    Disking With / Without Loader

I'm a new L3800 owner and I've got a 4' disk. I've been disking with my loader on. Sometimes my tractor rocks back and forth and the loader kind of bounces when I hit a rough patch and the disk looses contact with the ground. Maybe this is normal. My disk is not that heavy and I'm sure the...

    Piranha Tooth Bar Question

I installed my PTB today. It did what everyone said it would do. It will dig. I filled in a few mud holes at the camp. I didn't get a chance to try to clear any brush with it. I'll give that a shot this weekend.

    B7100HST-D and 4WD

I only used my tractor at the camp. I always run it in 2WD High going down the dirt roads or black top. I only put it in 4WD Med or Low when in the fields, doing loader work or when I have to go through a mud hole.

I have seen a couple on here. One was made out of PVC. Look through some of the old post and you'll find them.

    Question about Pallet Forks

I've got an L3800 with the quick detachable bucket. My dealer said the loader could accept any skid steer attachments. I'm renting a set of pallet forks Saturday for a skid steer. I can't bring my tractor to the place to see if they'll fit before renting them. Do all skid steer attachments...

    New L3560 Owner - Question

dmanlyr I do have the insurance through Kubota and I'm going to see what I can do about locking the hood. It's scary what people do these days. Thanks again for your insight and to OTT. I'm a first time tractor owner and I've learned so much from this forum.

    New L3560 Owner - Question

Thanks for the tip. I was certain I would get some good info after posting that. Maybe I should figure out how to lock the hood too. Can you get the tractor out of neutral and into gear without depressing the clutch?

    New L3560 Owner - Question

I leave my tractor at my camp. It's in a small community with houses around it and there are retired neighbors that are home all day. My tractor is not visible from the road but I do take some precautionary steps to deter someone from driving off with it. After parking and turning the ignition...
