    Sky Hooks?

Recall watching a show where a company was going to build a new complex on top of a mountain. They didn't know how they were going to get up there to build the building. So they asked for ideas. One of their employees, a dozer operator, said if they could get him and his CAT dozer on top of...

Need advice to move 1-1/2 ton pallet of rocks

Whoa, okay, wow, nice little channel you have going there. I was picturing something entirely different in my head! My OCD side would insist I do that all the way down my property... my wallet would scream an entirely different thing to me... then my wife would scream at me in agreement with...

    Woods XT172 Problems

Well, either the one that swivels free is the one that broke loose (they might have both been frozen up) when it hit the obstacle or the other one did and didn't bother to break loose. They should both be fairly free moving, not taking much muscle to move. This lets them bounce back if they...

How much rear ballast is enough for BX with FEL?

Well, squirrely isn't a scientific term. It's relative to your peace of mind... :D I've heard of L series drivers take their unit's over a 20° slope angle. I get anywhere near that with my L series, filled rears, everything low and it starts to lift a tire so that's squirrely to me. {The...

    B6000 stops running.

You may have deteriorated fuel lines. Modern lines aren't as good as the 'old' ones and the 'old' ones are now in the deteriorated class as well. So a fairly cheap project is to replace all the lines and it may resolve the issue. You can test the fuel injector pump with a gravity feed from a...

    Need more amps

Well, then run a low amp relay from the wire you are currently using to drive the LED light bar and use a dedicated run to the battery to run the bar via the relay. Between that and the LED worklight change out, your problem will likely brighten up.

    Customer service...

I've kind of struggled with this topic because I've been on both sides of it. To me it really comes down to the assumption of 'reasonability' on each side. A vendor (dealer, whatever) that won't even return calls or do the smallest thing for a customer is something we all know and recognize as...

    Can't Stand the Wait.

Welcome to Orange! I know that feeling and wow... a more than a week wait, ugh. Make certain you get lots of pictures and any training you need from them when they drop it off. A bunch of questions might be in your head so write them down and ask when they deliver it. Also go through a lot...

    Need more amps

Well you can put 18W-27W LED worklights on in place of the 55W halogens and that will cut down on the drain.

How much rear ballast is enough for BX with FEL?

How much math do you like to do? :D There are some assumptions to make to get you in the ballpark if you want to try to counter the full weight exactly. If you assume that the tractor is 'balanced' (which it isn't but it's close enough for ballpark) then you can take the measurement from the...

    Woods XT172 Problems

Yeah, Grade 8 as a sheer bolt is everything else shears first. Grade 2, standard, is what my dealer recommends for my Land Pride rotary mower. Sorry to hear you had to replace the gearbox. Do your blades swivel? That has been the biggest gearbox saver on my LP1260.

    Need more amps

180W on a 12V system is ~15amps draw... yeah, that kind of a light bar will definitely impact the alternator/electrical system. If the lightbar is like that one, then yes, you'll need to upgrade to the 40amp alternator to handle the increased load. In order to keep things balanced, when you...

Need advice to move 1-1/2 ton pallet of rocks

Just my $0.02 but I'd mortar those puppies for that length and height. If you have fabric and wire behind it, it will bond to both and stabilize the entire wall. You can put additional stone in front of the mortared stone and it will absorb some of the energy of the oncoming water and prolong...

    Need more amps

So, what kind of power is your light bar pulling? LED's shouldn't be drawing that much juice unless you have the light bar from heck.

    sun faded on my loader

I think the paint is still Alkyd based, if so, the good ol' buff and paint renewal wax job will work. If it's clear coated, all bets are off but I'd be wondering why it faded at that point. Test a small area first and see if some cleaner/revitalization wax and elbow grease will do.

    B7100 or BX2200?

A BX for 20 acres? I think my L3200 probably is overworked at 10 acres! If you're just going to do small jobs, some lawn mowing (under 2 acres) that BX will do fine. If you are going to work that 20 acres... that BX will come up short really fast. I think a maxxed out L or better yet, an M...

    LA524 Quick Attach? (SSQA)

Thank you kind sir. Don't know why I didn't think of ebay, I practically live on that site. I was so focused on Kubota factory stuff... They have a kit there for $240 that has the cut square tube but you still have to weld it... boy is that a rip off. $70 just for a little heavy gauge square...

New to the Kubota L3200, couple questions

Just a couple of add-ons to what CCRay said: Diff lock is also useful for loader operations when you need to go straight and traction could use a boost. Steering doesn't work so well with the diff lock on and it's hard on the front tires trying to steer and use 4WD. I've also used it under...
