    Rim failure

Likely filled with Calcium Carbonate (?) or other old school anti-freeze and water. You'll need to drain the tire into a drum or have a tractor service come out and do this. If it is Calcium Carbonate, you have to treat it as Hazardous Materials for disposal. Then you'll have to pull the tube...

    Fire and Theft Insurance

Yup, Homeowners is common, however inland marine is recommended if not covered under financing. Never trust Homeowners to actually cover loss of the unit.

    Kubota BX rear receiver hitch

Hmmm, I was looking at how to do something similar. I was just going to buy one of these: http://www.harborfreight.com/12-hitch-extender-69882.html and drill 2 holes through the insert side to match the standard draw bar assembly and bolt it directly onto the drawbar. Now I look at your mod...

    L210 Wont Start

That diagram seems to show it has sleeves. So, if you can find just the sleeves and rings for it, you can probably get it running again for fairly cheap. If not, a new engine is in your future as you would have to have the sleeves and rings custom made by a machine shop and that would be as...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Re: Scooped up manure and dumped it in a growing pile Well, most folks end up naming them, by design or circumstance. The former can be creative and fun, the latter are usually of the 4 letter variety or rhyming with things like witch, yard, or it. While more colorful, they usually aren't as...

NI Wolfman, that just makes my point even better, so thanks! I guess he's trying to add 4 work ports to the rear then? I really misread that post. At that point I'd probably just add a stack unit for a backhoe. I just spec'd a 4 gang unit, all with detented float for $820. So the Kubota...

    Battery Replacement

I don't think he was suggesting you use peanut butter, he was suggesting using a mix of baking soda the consistency of peanut butter... :D I've never had an issue with the sprays, just a light coating prevents fouling for 4-5 years. You don't need to go bonkers with it. You do need to use...

    b3300su starting problems

Go with NI Wolfman's take, he's one of the best resources here. My troubleshooting will usually only get you in the ballpark, his will let you hit the ball out of the ballpark.

    Tire Ballast

If I were to guess, the bearings or the pivot isn't made for the extra weight but that seems silly as it should handle massive weight up front there. The normal logic is to put weight in the tires and on the rims to not have it put weight on the pivot and axles, which is what suitcase weights...

    Simple version of quick hitch

Several versions of those are running around. They do add length and for some attachments it's not a problem, for others it can be. You'll just have to work around them. I don't know what brand those are so I can't speak to what I've heard on quality.

    Front end loader uses

The only thing I see wrong with the picture is that the ROPS is folded while using the loader. Anytime the loader is in use, that ROPS should be up and solid for safeties sake whenever possible. Other than that, just looks like you're taking out the trash.

    Favorite Chemicals for Coolant Flush

Just a simple bottle of white vinegar and distilled water will gently remove any scale deposits, but it needs to sit for a while. If you have other issues like grease or additive contaminants then I don't know if the vinegar can deal with that.

ZD18 Mower spindle bearing greasing - excessive

Tooljunkie has the fix I've used... rigid brake line, I just get the right size and run the die on it to thread it. You can use just aluminum tube if you aren't going to put an end on it. Usually if you can get an 'over' cover on it to keep water away you can still wash it down. I've seen any...

    Key Switch Starter Issue

You guys might wanna check out an L2550... it's not a sub 15hp rototiller meant for hand operation. We also aren't talking about a small garden tractor that might make your foot hurt if it gets run over. (Comment isn't directed at Stob, you know the unit, you own it but everyone reading this...

    b3300su starting problems

Sounds like it's not really running but turning over with a weak 'run' and it can't sustain it without the starter. Usually that's a fuel issue with diesels, not enough of it (fuel). It can be a preheat problem. Are you running your glow plugs for 30-60 seconds before trying to fire it over?

Sounds like I need a de-glanded pet skunk when yellow jacket time arrives. They are very smart and docile too if you get the domesticated ones.

Who has the best way to deal with leaves in the fall ?

I have heard you can pile them all up, cover them up with dirt and burn them like you're making charcoal. Then you rototill the dirt and left over coals, add some nutrients your particular soil needs and it's awesome fertilizer. Never had enough to do it with to try it but I want to!

D722 no fuel coming out of injector pump ?

If the unit has been sitting for a while, the injector pump might be all gummed up. Generally speaking, it's a good time to take it off and rebuild it when that happens. Many older tractors actually shared common injector pumps. My D-17 has a ROOSA pump that is on hundreds of other motors...
