    Glow Plug Light

IF you're electrically savvy. Manually bypass it, mines now a momentary push button. GPs are high amperage, ie a relay is REQUIRED. Also quick heating GPs, Never on long. I realize not for everyone. Yours likely has a temp sender for the gauge and a seperate sender for them, like NIW said esp...

    V2203 head bolts

The "upper gasket kit" head, intake, exhaust, thermostat housing gaskets, injector coopers, and is that valve seals? It's $164, but I think it includes the OEM head gasket too. Seems better value. Hate skim coat siliconing used gaskets for a seal. Rather replace them.

    V2203 head bolts

Worked on my trailer today, parts run too. Did staight edge the block. .002 to maybe .003 " (required force though). Think the sub par head gasket did it?

    V2203 head bolts

Sure is! Just scraped it right before dark. Pulled the tarp back and lighted it. 100% its that. Ill straight edge it and measure extent. Worst case I'll pull the engine and strip it. likely full rebuild if I pull it. Danggit, sometimes molehills actually become mountains instead of making...

    V2203 head bolts

Had to scrape the remaining gasket off. Honestly never seen a head gasket like this. Lots of paper. Although I still don't see a cause. No possibility it froze, I mixed it recently with distilled. Pictires are 1, 2, 3, 4. Forgot an overall, it's tarped again. It's dark now.

    V2203 head bolts

#4 was dusted by PO. Replaced piston and rings on it. Hence the HG about a year ago. Previously smoke due to low compression on 4. Of course blowby too. No cooling system issues.

    V2203 head bolts

BTW I used a plastic wheel on a die grinder. Clean but doesn't eat metal like 3M Rolocs do.

    V2203 head bolts

After pressure washing, guess I didnt dry it enough. It was dark, had to clean it. I see nothing. Head pics. Will get block too. Inspected head gasket coolant passages again see no reason...

    V2203 head bolts

I know dry, just wondered. I pressure washed all the take offs (including the head and the lower engine) pulled the steering pedestal to remove the fuel tank for easier engine access. Air hose blower dried everything and put all of them in my polaris ranger and put it in the dry barn. Anyhow...

    V2203 head bolts

NIW, do I need to remove valves? It's raining here I wiped it off and flashlighted it. Idea, if I fill intakes and exhaust ports with H2O would it leak through a potential crack with radiator cap pressure? It was pressuring the degas bottle really bad. Figured it would be blatantly obvious...

    V2203 head bolts

I hope not. I plan to have the machine shop check it over including magnaflux. Is there common places v2203 heads crack?

    V2203 head bolts

Can my L4200 head bolts be reused? My gut says yes as they aren't tourqe to yield. I replaced a piston last year and head gasket then. Straight edged the head and block. They were fine. At some point the degas bottle made noise. Now it rolls non-stop when running to the point of antifreeze...

Trans stuck in 4th gear on M9000

I agree with NIW. If your linkages are ok, thinking shift parts inside. Pull the boot up and make sure no shift guides are stuck. (Never been in this model). I do see a Bowden cable. If the casing has any break in it. It'll lock up.

    L4200 DT GST 4WD Steering

2wd or MFWD? Mines a MFWD. the front steering cylinder is under the radiator, the front mechanical steering is bolted to it. Make sure the bolts are tight. Slack when OFF is normal, it is still hydrostatic (hydraulic) steering. There is no mechanical linkage to the steering. This setup is...

Disclaimer: this is not my cutter. This has a single chain. Mine has two. Mounting is not an issue.
