    L275 ran fine....now won't start?

Glad your here!. Now, walk to your trash can, remove the lid, and now throw the ether in the trash and replace the lid. With that done, you can now troubleshoot the entire fuel system. begin at the fuel tank check at each connection for proper fuel quality and flow all the way back to the tank...

    L245DT charging light

One thing to keep in mind is that a auto/tractor style batt is 12volt nominal, meaning actual voltage is around 13.5 really. when energy is drained from the batt and the alt/gen is replacing it the voltage has to be greater than the batt at that time in order to overcome the static voltage and...

    B6200HST-E Steering Soga

when I blew my steering box on my B7100DT i was able to buy 2 new kubota brand replacement shafts from my dealer. At that time I was told that the replacements were around 7/8" longer than original. When I got it all back together I couldn't notice any difference, I doubt you will either.

b7100 engine upgrade, a new project to undertake.

I'm with Steve, Would love to have a set of those brackets and idler pulleys to swap on mine too! I have a set to locate the alt to the side but, they interfere with the side panel. I like how those also have the punched metal guards too. Those might be a necessary design for the engines...

Tach & hour meter quit on L285

I learned from a long time mechanic that grease was a better lube for spiral twisted drive cables. Since they will slide from the drive sheath easily, lube can be spread its entire length. Just place a little high temp grease, like wheel bearing grease, in your hand the size of a quarter. Grasp...

    Slips when pulling a load

Agreed, Before you do split, ensure you have completed the proper adjustment procedures and have given a true load test of some sort to help decide. As said, splitting this one is a bit of work.

Tach & hour meter quit on L285

Plus they're really not so expensive to not put on a correct cable if the drive is good. Also, lube that cable too!

    Slips when pulling a load

You havent seen a new-ish fluid leak anywhere have you? I'm still back with a clutch slippage but grasping at heat or grease type issues with the clutch pack/flywheel causing the slippage.

B5100E Oil pressure and charging issues

I don't remember, there was another thread about the size and adding a gauge something ago. About the first part of the summer I think. New replacement senders are about $15 bucks at a dealer. I have heard if guys putting grease in the hole and tapping it to a NPT. I'm not that brave. My luck I...

    1978 Kubota B7001 FEL question

You should be fine with all of your concerns. The fluid level should be checked after several cycles of the FEL to ensure it has had a chance to push the air back out the system. Make sure you cycle the 3ph as well. Then top off as necessary. Oh Pic's Too!!
