    Honing hydraulic cylinders

I am rebuilding my hydraulic cylinders and I want to hone them before I install the new seals. I plan on using a flex hone but my only issue is the hone is not long enough. I am looking for a drill extension but all I am finding are extensions with the hex adapter in the end for quick bits. Any...

Well if my repair efforts fail, Coleman has the rods on their website for $131 a piece. Not terrible.

B7200 HST, 1640 Loader Lift and Bucket Cylinder PN

So I read a few articles that say you can braze the gouge and smooth out the repair and still have the shaft be serviceable. Interesting. http://weldingweb.com/showthread.php?172251-Brazing-rod-hydraulic-cylinder-s-rod-that-is

B7200 HST, 1640 Loader Lift and Bucket Cylinder PN

I am about half way through the rebuild of my hydraulic cylinders. i have two of them apart and I am waiting for the seal kits to come from coleman. After taking apart the cylinders I see a difference in that the lift cylinders have thicker shaft diameters. That explains the difference...

Great thread. If the crank is workable I would go the rebuild route too.

    B6000 with Two Electrical Systems????

Not sure. Good place to start is kubotabooks.com. If you go to the site you will see that they have a copy of the service manual and the parts manual for the B6000. If you don't already have copies go download them. Good luck, Nate

B7200 HST, 1640 Loader Lift and Bucket Cylinder PN

I am in the middle of re-sealing my lift and bucket cylinders on my B7200. I downloaded the manual for the 1640 loader and my unit falls in the SN number range =>24005473. From the manual lift cylinder PN 70050-93634 bucket cylinder PN 70050-93635 PN stamped onto the cylinders lift...

    B7200 HST Screen

I did a service about a year ago when I first bought the tractor and the filter looked to be in the same shape. I can easily see through the hydraulic screen but not the HST screen. I used Walmart super tech hydraulic oil, I am going to use chevron 1000 thf for this change. It specs better than...

    B7200 HST Screen

So I am doing a little R&R to the kubota, cleaning the screens. After cleaning the HST screen I still can't even see through it, problem? The tractor has been sluggish. Thoughts?

    b7200 PTO seal replacement

I am going to replace the PTO seal on my tractor. I have a question regarding the PTO rear cover. Does the PTO rear plate require a paper gasket or will ultra black RTV sealant work in its place? I can make a paper gasket to fit the plate but I think the RTV may seal better. Thoughts?

    Trans/hydraulic preferences

Chevron 1000 THF, it specs better than UDT. Orange in color too makes it easy to read the dipstick. $11 per gallon, not a bad price.

1640 QA loader not so QA

Just took out the wedge bolt on one side. I had to use a hammer to get the wing nut off. The treads were all galled up on the bolt. Tap and die...good as new. Crazy he would weld it instead of 5 mins of R&R. I will do a little grinding this afternoon to free it up. It will be nice to be able to...

1640 QA loader not so QA

I bought a b7200 about a year ago and I have been fixing all the issues the PO neglected. One of the issues is that he welded the QA loader into the loader frame pockets so it cant be removed. Not sure why he would do it. It might be because the wedge bolts from Kubota are about $30 a piece...
