    B7200 check valve swap

I have a Kabota B 7200 with a hydrostatic transmission. I want to swap the forward and reverse check valves because I'm losing push power in foward. What goes into this? Reverse has quite a bit more power than forward so I think this is the problem. Is it just a matter of threading them out and...

    The snow keeps on coming.

Not to rub salt in any wounds but it was 79 degrees here yesterday in San Diego, we are pretty lucky, at least when it comes to weather. It has been getting down to the high 20's and low 30's at night but during the day it has been warming up nicely. Its supposed to be in the 70's from now...

Getting some good seat time on B7200

Redneck thanks for the info. I am going to mess around with the tractor a little more this week and next week. I am off work until the 6th so I will get to play a bit. Descanso, yes I keep it out of 4wd on hard surfaces, good reminder though. By the way, I live down in Dehesa Valley, we...

    Quick disconnect replacement 1640 loader

Replacing the QDs on my 1640 loader as they are leaking and new o-rings did not help. The hoses are 3/8 npt, what should I look for in a replacement? What ISO series, just the standard agricultural type? On the threads I assume Teflon tape is a no no, just use paste, or? Thanks for the help! Nate

Getting some good seat time on B7200

So i tried backing off on the HST when i hear it start to whine and it did help but there still is a lack of power in forward. To test i turned around and backed up the hill in reverse without any problems. I did some research and so far i think i have already done the basics. Fluid, screens...

Getting some good seat time on B7200

Now that I have a little tractor everyone has tasks they want me to do for them. I drove the B7200 HSTD over to my brothers house, it's about a mile away, and noticed that the hydro makes a whine sound. After reading I know that this is pretty normal. In high the tractor goes fine on level to...

    Seat replacement...Ebay or Dealer?

All great points fellas. I think i am going to go the dealer route. I have been going in about once a week now since i bought the new to me B7200 to get odds and ends, they have had everything in stock so far. The guys are real nice and have even thrown in some o-rings for my hydraulic fluid...

    Seat replacement...Ebay or Dealer?

Simple enough question. Replacing a worn out seat on the B7200 HSTD and was wondering should I just get a seat from Ebay? They run about 110-125 dollars or should I go to the dealership and get on for about 145-150 dollars? Thanks Nate

B7200 HSTD front axle worn center pin?

Wolfman, thanks for the link. I was able to find the 7200HST manual which has the hydraulics and the hydrostatic transmission information. Now I just need to find the base manual which covers everything else for the 7200. CB I think you hit the nail on the head. A shim/washer would probably...

B7200 HSTD front axle worn center pin?

Seems pretty straight forward. i love the fact that this tractor is so easy to service, at least it has been so far. I do need to take the plunge and get the service manual, wish it wasn't so darn expensive.

B7200 HSTD front axle worn center pin?

I have been working on the new to me B7200 HSTD which i picked up a month ago from a local guy who used it to tend to his small citrus orchard. The sheet metal is a little worse for wear as expected from an orchard tractor, but the dented sheet metal did not get me down too bad. The little...

    Tire size ratio

    Is this the correct math? 68 x 1.464 = 99.552 / 94 = 1.059 Basically 5.9% Stock would be: 68 x 1.464 = 99.552 / 91 = 1.093 9.3%???? What am I doing wrong?

    Tire size ratio

Did some additional research, I am learning. The rolling circumference is 91" for the 8-16 and 94" for the 8.3-16. The 8.3-16 is .2 inches bigger in diameter. The 6-12 has a rolling circumference of 68". How do I calculate to see if the tire sizes are within the correct range and won't cause...

    Tire size ratio

Thanks, great info, makes sense. The speed of the tires need to be the same so there is no binding. Looks like I need to do more research. Keep the info coming.
