If you will be making the trip regularly you chose wisely. Now look into some binder chain setups and you'll have worry free traveling. Choose a decent brake controller also.

    Considering a B2650

I just bought a B2650 over the B2620 and here's why. 1. It weighs a little bit more than the B2620 - useful when pulling or dragging things because of better traction. 2. 3 pt hitch has higher lifting capacity. 3. FEL has higher lifting capacity 4. Available with a quick release bucket ( I...

    Bx trailer question

I'll chime in with my story. I have a 5 x 10 utility trailer with a 3000 lb axle. I also have a car hauler that has two axles, dual brakes etc. I could not use my car hauler so I tried my single axle trailer to tow 5 miles. I was in serious pucker mode. I towed a B2650 with the forks on the...

    New BX25 owner: Grapple available?

Please clarify the 600 for the third function valve. My dealer says 1000 installed. Did you install the third function valve?

    New BX25 owner: Grapple available?

I was going to mention the land pride SGC05 also. I just wish they had a slightly larger version for my B2650.

    Lost my 1 key...

My dealer always says not to leave my key with my machine when it goes back for service, so I guess it's not difficult at all. But you probably won't find one at home depot.

Can I step on the deck to get on/off?

To remove your deck don't you drive the tractor over it? Just don't step anywhere the belts and pulleys are...

    Super UDT?

Dude, I have a B2650 also. Look closely in your owners manual, in the maintenance section there is a page that specifically calls out what fluid goes where. That's how I found out I needed Super UDT 2 for the HST.

    Small L or Big B?

Forgot to mention, if you are looking for gears, the B2650 is hydrostatic.

    Small L or Big B?

I just bought a B2650, it weighs maybe 200 lbs more than a B2620. I'm not much of a farmer etc, but my only complaint on my machine is weight. In 2WD my box scraper can stop my tractor when I'm using it for certain things. In 4WD it's a different story. The tradeoff in my opinion between B...

    Telescoping Stabilizers

My tractor came with them, I'm still getting used to them. I guess I got lucky.

Pulled down an old shed and waxed my new B2620 - PICS

nice tractor and nice drawbar setup. You can take that vertical bolt and drill it for a lynch pin then your bolt won't fall off. It may loosen but it will not get lost.

What do they do with it?

I know refineries typically reprocess off spec product if they catch it before it leaves the plant. Once it's offsite, the only way they can get rid of it is to downgrade it to something else. I doubt a refinery would take it back to reprocess, but there is a term called Slop Oil in a refinery...

    New B2620 Owner

Congratulations! I just got a very similar B2650 and it's a monster. I have been using it to do all sorts of things and it performs very well for many things. But if I had any 1 item to change, it would be to put a little more weight in it. I'm doing some bucket work and some box scraping...

    Warranty Covers Hydraulic Hoses?

Now I'm intrigued, I too have a new B2650 and am having a hydraulic leak looked at shortly. I noticed a small puddle when I had the tractor parked in the garage. Now it's on the trailer and I see about a pie sized oil stain on the steel deck. The leak is bad enough that I now have no oil on...

    parking brake

I was just about to ask the same question. Just did that to my new B2650 and wondered why the tranny was groaning. I was in medium and it did not stop me from moving. I only have 20 hours on mine. He'll my old Craftsman garden tractor even has a lever that throws you in neutral when you hit...

    BX1870 and ROPS

If you have a front end loader and you back up with a load and turn you'll see how quickly your tractor can get squirrely on you.

    Fuel for BX23

Heating oil is similar to diesel but not quite the same thing you would have to look at the specs. I can say this, lately diesel has been offered with lower and lower sulfur specs. My new 2650 has a warning label on it stating "warning ultra low sulfur diesel only" I doubt the heating oil has...
