New to forum, got some questions

I just pulled the trigger on a B2650 and love it. Of course I'm not plowing or bush hogging 20 acres. Sometimes bigger isn't always better, but as stated weight is key to traction. I've been snaking between trees and pushing logs etc and I'm sure except for the agility, a L would do a little...

Anyone use a 72" deck on the 2650?

I just got a 2650 and the owners manual says the 2650 does not have the diesel particulate filter DPF. The 3350 does. Sweet little machine but I don't think it's rated for a 72" mower. As stated maybe it just means you have to drive slower.

    Lightweight grapple for LA534

The WR Long looks nice and light, but for the short term a little out of my price range. I may revisit the bolt on claw they have for my bucket.

    Any recommendations? New B2650

I'm not certain how to post pictures but I'll figure out something eventually. I've rented a BX25 and it was a beast but I didn't like what I felt was a big limitation. The backhoe seemed to laugh at the weight of the tractor. That's what pushed me into the B series, then I slowly worked my...

    Lightweight grapple for LA534

I did not know that WR Long made a bolt on grapple, looking at their website what I was talking about was their root rake brush grapple RBG2. The 48" or 54" version. Weighs about 325 or 339 lbs. I may have to look close at the bolt on jaws.

    Brake Lights

I'm a big fan of using relays and of course fuses for lights. Get the relays that are waterproof, and spend the extra 2-3 bucks for the relay socket. It may be overkill but once you find a switched 12 volts, I would use it to energize the coil on a relay. Then I would come directly off the...

Chipper vs chipper shredder worth the extra $?

This won't help you decide on what machine you will get but it's related. I have an old school chipper/shredder from Troy Built. The chipper is just that, a sharp blade that will chip larger branches. My shredder has swinging flails that resemble small rectangles with an inverted corner at...

How to fill the tires with ballast

As was stated before, my owners manual states to put the stem at 12:00 and fill to the stem with the tire vertical. Leaves a little air volume to go over rough spots like rocks since air is compressible and water is not. I'm anxious to put water or a mixture in my tires but I do like the...

    Lightweight grapple for LA534

I forget the model numbers but Land Pride makes several grapples. They make a 05 version that fits on a BX25. The next model is a 15 but it's for larger tractors. Searching on their website shows a 10 series model but does not give much information on them. I did find some useful information...

    Any recommendations? New B2650

I did get the quick release bucket with the two levers. I didn't bother to measure my bucket but if I had to guess I got the 54" bucket. I too got the pallet forks but did not get the same forks listed above. Love them.

    Lightweight grapple for LA534

Would anyone have a recommendation for a lightweight grapple for a LA534 loader? The ones I see are starting at 60-66" wide and way 4-500 lbs. I was hoping for say a 48-50" one that may weigh 2-300 lbs.

    Any recommendations? New B2650

Hello everyone, I will soon be the proud owner of a new B2650. This is my first tractor and I look forward to learning how to use it. I chose this over the 2620 because it seemed to have more of the things I like (LA534 and QC bucket). I do have a question. Being new too the game I do not...
