    Rust cancer treatments ???

In the past we have used good ol Muratic Acid (pool acid), diluted with water. Works great on metal that has no paint, but you can not use it on structural items like springs shackles, etc. because you will get imbrittlement. That would make these types of items weak. This is from old timers in...

    Help with my headlights

Re: Help wiv my headlights A 1157 bulb or (Taillight / Stoplight) is only (27 / 8.3) Watts, hardly enough watts for a headlamp. My L1500 came with (35 / 35) watts, and that is still barely bright enough?

    Help with my headlights

Re: Help wiv my headlights The photo Stu posted does have three connections? He is looking for a headlight bulb, and we can not see both locking pins to know if they are staggered or not, but I believe they are generally not on headlight bulbs of this nature. High is both filaments hot and...

    Help with my headlights

Re: Help wiv my headlights I am not familiar with the bulb style/base for the ZL2201 (L245), but if it is the same as my L1500. Either of these should work (if it is a P15D-30 base).... These are 45W vs the standard 35W http://www.ebay.com/itm/161725463837?item=161725463837&viewitem=&vxp=mtr...

    Transmission Reassembly Question

I have a couple of dilemmas as I reassemble my L1500 transmission, First when I reassembled and installed the input shaft, a thrust washer that was on the original WILL NOT fit. I got the gear and bearing as tight as a ducks arse, and that's waterproof, but when I go to put the washer and...

What would you replace? Trans Gears

I was not thinking of that aspect, it was more of a $$$ vs Time, and since that gear is easily changed with out a split, that was my thought. I was just going to "clean-up" the reverse gear with a file and Emory cloth. I guess since I do not need a tractor in the midst of Winter, I do not...
