That seems like the hard way to do it, even Mini's with the hydrolastic suspension, the easiest way was to just drop the sub-frame. A handful of bolts and the wiring going to the cab, then two guys pick up the front of the body and wheel it away from the sub-frame / engine / trans-axle.

Looking good, I too had some issues, I am using the Kubota Orange and I feel (following their directions) it is a bit thin, had to be so so careful. If this is a race to the finish you are ahead, I just removed the old decals from my hood today.

Re: Gadgets I love that idea! I would just weld on a couple of pins and drill two holes in the bucket, when it rotates in, under and on slip a couple of clips in the pins. Nice and secure. You have some great ideas that I am sure lots will "steal"

On my L1500 there is a notch in the hole and an extrusion on the switch to keep it from rotating when tight.
