2.5 - 3 hours later and a quarter turn out / two turns in, with plenty of lube, a bit of heat, a pipe vice, a 20" adjustable wrench, and a 24" "bar" extension. I got it apart, and got the slide handle straight. 20+ "up and down" revolutions" with an impact and lots of oil, and it turns freely...

Have not tried heat yet but plenty of spray lubes, at those costs I will work at it much more. I can get it to screw in and out about 5-6 turns but the it stops. I will not give up just yet!

Okay, I will check with the dealer I just thought Napa or CARQUEST would be a lot cheaper but maybe not. I did find the clips I needed for the air filter someone mentioned a different model tractor and sure enough they were the same and fit.

That looks real nice, I also have all the painting stuff, including reducer and hardner. Guess that is the route I will go. I do not see a left side pic, is the clutch pedal blue? Is there two different blues, or is everything the same, can not tell ( phone )?
