    2.5 - 3 hours later and a quarter turn out / two turns in, with plenty of lube, a bit of heat, a pipe vice, a 20" adjustable wrench, and a 24" "bar" extension. I got it apart, and got the slide handle straight. 20+ "up and down" revolutions" with an impact and lots of oil, and it turns freely...

    Have not tried heat yet but plenty of spray lubes, at those costs I will work at it much more. I can get it to screw in and out about 5-6 turns but the it stops. I will not give up just yet!

    Cleaned all the tree sap and gunk off my sheet metal, (in a heated shop) got a better idea of what I am up against. Not Bad for a 40+ year old Grey Market! Still need to pressure wash the grease off the innards, but 22° is not Pressure Wash temps!
