Possible to lower 3 pt hitch more?

I was thinking you could move it to the front hole, hitch up, then sit the implement on something and move back to the rear hole. I see now that you had it figured out before I posted--I should have read all the way through.

    Hst or shuttle shift?

I was initially thinking that the cruise control seemed like an unnecessary feature, but then realized that that's exactly how I've driven every other tractor ever. Pop the clutch, travel at a fixed speed until I change something. I haven't mowed with my "new" Kubota yet, but probably this year.

    Rear Blade Operating Advice

This exactly matches my experience. I ended up buying a box blade to scrape up the old stuff. If you just fill in the holes/low spots without first scraping everything down to that level the potholes come right back I'm not good at this at all, but it does get better with practice. When I...

Possible to lower 3 pt hitch more?

Wouldn't moving the side link to that hole make the end lower? The zirk on your LHS side link would indicate that it would adjust--do you see threads?

    Hst or shuttle shift?

Is there any equipment wear/damage issues with using the HST for stuff like mowing or disking? I get that I'm losing some power. In addition to being able to go as slow as I want at full PTO speed (very useful for snow blowing, where I will have 6 inches in the driveway, but two foot deep...

    Kubota Response to Questions

I've had this issue on older (gas obviously) motorcycles. A spec of fuel line in your float needle can wreck your whole day. Of course, I still forget to replace them and we're talking cheap, low pressure, fuel line.

Need advice how to disable non-functional "safety" sensors

The more sad thing is that the companies don't want to risk putting it in front of a jury of morons, so they settle out of court for a couple of mil. $Million here, $million there, pretty soon you're talking about real money. Don't keep your tools in a fanny pack.

Shopping for Snow Blowing Turbo Tractor - LX3310?

L5740 is turbo and pre-pollution ridiculousness. Mine, with the HST, can move a lot of snow. I'm nowhere near there, but am curious to the details on this one.

When do you take your chains off?

My snow fence is often up till May. I try to not use the tractor much when it's very muddy--once I'm done moving snow I'd rather not rut things up. I didn't even put chains on this winter now that I have 4WD.

Need advice how to disable non-functional "safety" sensors

I've seen (road) vehicles where there is a resistance that is detected to stop such reverse engineering. I had to solder some resistors in to bypass one on my Dodge. Hopefully Kubota isn't there yet!

Pats easy change and a need for pto extension?

I am finding that my Kubota (without quick hitch) needs shafts about 3 inches longer than the other two tractors needed. This is annoying, more so since I just got a new shaft for my snowblower, which is now too short. I'm running an extension for this season, but will need to come up with...

Shopping for Snow Blowing Turbo Tractor - LX3310?

If I backed the tractor into the barn I could grab the first bucket full of snow. Where would I put it so that I could pick up the 2nd bucket? With my Farmall M I could fill up that 9 ft bucket such that I couldn't back up, even with chains. Not saying I regularly get enough snow to get a...

Shopping for Snow Blowing Turbo Tractor - LX3310?

How much snow does it take until you can't get the tractor through the pile so the pull-behind can deal with it? Are there issues with the compacted strips from the tractor running on the snow before the blower gets a chance at it? I like the concept, but can picture getting stuck in the barn...

Telescoping 3 Point Stabilizer Kit for BX tractors

I can't imagine trying to use a tractor with those turnbuckles. Even my old, old, Ford had a pin to pop and swing out (no real adjustment, but you could swing it out to hitch up). Maybe you could mail some to Canada as a side hustle?

    First time tractor buying advice.

If legit, that would be a steal. You'd pay that much around here for that tractor + FEL w/ no cab and w/ none of the other implements.

    Minnesota dealer advice needed

I've also been very happy with Arnold's in Mankato. I dealt with Christian on a used tractor and got a very good feeling about the people there.

    Hst or shuttle shift?

I've never had a shuttle shift, and got my first HST this summer. i absolutely love HST for snow. I'm running a hand-me-down snowblower that caused my 72 pto hp JD 3020 to struggle (reverse gear too tall). With the 50 pto hp HST I can easily slow down (w/out decreasing pto speed) for the deep...

Do they have an extra-thick version? I don't think paint is enough for my welds.

    First coolant change questions L3901

In a cold climate it's a little more important. I need to be 50-50 or better (shoot for 55-60% anti-freeze/45-40% water). What I do is drain and flush a couple of times, then look up the stated capacity of the cooling system. Multiply that by .6 (or .5 in VA) and put that much straight...

My tractor didnt come with any components of the 3 point assembly

I've never had a three-point with the turnbuckles like that, but it looks like a royal PITA to change implements. I get the hesitancy to upgrade if you have a working three-point, but if you are buying fresh I would suggest considering something like below (random internet photo I found via...
