    B2150 Ag.Tires

It's a B2150D. For future reference, that's from my profile, also under my name on the left. Anyway, yes, it's 4WD. I'm not sure exactly what the tires came off of, I bought them as take-offs, but I believe they are the right size for the B2150D, and I have no known issues using the 4WD.

    rear weight box

Tractor data puts your 3 point max at about 1500 lbs, so that gives you an upper limit. On mine, I just use the heaviest most compact implement that's either already attached or easiest to get attached. And I would consider loading your rear tires, which helps in lots of ways, before going...

    B2150 Ag.Tires

Not sure it will help, but I did go look, and mine are 180/85D12 R1.

    L3900

This has been a hard one for me to accept. Both my little orange tractors are cantankerous starting, even in the mild Phoenix winter (which even at that only lasted about a week this year, coinciding perfectly with Christmas and my vacation time). Anyway, my old tractors and MD trucks with...

    b2150 hst

Not uncommon at all. Mine was doing the same thing, found the column tube literally full, standing in hydraulic oil. Replaced that upper seal (down below the column), problem solved. Not a difficult job at all.

Are you happy with the hydraulic lift capacity of your Kubota?

By that picture, I have the same forks. You think it's bad on that big L, they are almost completely useless on my piddly little B2150. The only practical use I've found is putting a pallet on them and then loading with my scaffolding and paint gear to take it to/from where it needs to be...

    Pin Hole Too Big

He lives up in Dewey somewhat near Prescott Valley. They get a little more relief than we get down here in the Valley... where it's been bumping at and over 90 most days for over a month now. It was hot enough in February that I was already scheduling some tasks for when the sun got low or...

    Pin Hole Too Big

Biggest problem for an "easy" fix is getting it broken down to a size to easily transport and get on a common sized machine. I know a machine shop down town with a horizontal boring machine easily big enough to put a full size tractor on the table and bore the hole. But you don't want to think...

    Tilt Steering.

If that tractor is not very different than every Kubota tractor I've ever seen, there is not nearly enough room to retrofit any automotive tilt I've ever seen. My guess is that if someone was really motivated enough you could do it with an inexpensive universal combined with a good bit of...

What do you use for a welder?

I agree on all points. There are very few circumstances I would even consider a 110V welder. And as suggested, take your time to figure out what you need, and what you want. Years ago, after much debate, I bought a Miller MM175 around y2k or so. It's the largest of what was considered a...

    Kubota bright orange paint.

Looks like BT paint is only in CA. I've been using Chevy Engine Orange. Close, but not quite right. I need to try that HD paint.

    Stained concrete floors

I've got epoxy in my shop, and I like it very well indeed. Easy to clean, holds up really well to some serious abuse. The only down side is it's slick with wet feet. You can fix that by adding sand, but it makes it harder to clean. I find my good work shoes with non-slip rubber soles do just...

    Stained concrete floors

My DIL is a designer, and knew I liked the sort of neo-modern-industrial look, so she suggested that when I filled in my vintage '70s sunken living room, I consider stain. Looking at the DIY sites, and liking the sort of raw look, I bought into it. Problem is, it's "one and done". No fixing...

    Shooting with the family

Wow, must be something in the air. My daughter got a new gun a while back and never shot it. Also found out my mother hadn't shot hers in 3 decades. So we all went shooting last weekend too! Almost 3 hours, but they are much more confident (and accurate) with their weapons. Also had them do...

L2950 - Hydraulic Fluid Leaking fro Under Steering Wheel

Yes, you care correct, and I get that it's different. My only point was that maybe yours could be similar to mine in that it could be a single seal that got tired rather than needing a rebuild. Hopefully that's what you will find when you get it sorted. It's still got a shaft that goes into...

L2950 - Hydraulic Fluid Leaking fro Under Steering Wheel

Not the same, but my B2150 with power steering was leaking under the steering wheel hub. Turned out to be a simple seal about 4" below that. Took a bit of work to get down to it and put back together, but cost less than $5 and only took an hour or so. No rebuild needed in my case.

    B219 loader and kuw200/b670 backhoe

I have the same thing on my B7100. Got it through the program from the local dealer ("stealer" was never more appropriate). I just gave them the model and SN, and they got the ROPs in about 2 weeks later. Remove the tin PTO shroud and bolt on the BEEFY PTO shroud with ROPS mounted, included...

Splitting the L3130 - Repair thread

Re: Splitting the L3130 - Remove ALL of Sub-Frame? (Good Idea) I wouldn't want to cantilever the tractor off it, but it is more than sufficient to support a tractor half that has most of the weight still supported on the axles. So really, all it does is prevent rotation on the axles and...

    Some help choosing a tractor

I've been debating my choice of the B2150 (used obviously, too cheap for new) recently, it was an upgrade from a B7100, in large part to get the backhoe. I certainly don't have the land to justify, but I seem to just KEEP hitting it's physical limits on 3 point AND loader. Anyway, one of the...

Splitting the L3130 - Repair thread

Re: Splitting the L3130 - Remove ALL of Sub-Frame? Not much help for your specifics, but I recently had the pleasure of spitting my B2150 and replacing the 2 stage clutch. And, much like you, I got suckered on the purchase. I also felt something a little off initially, but I knew it had been...
