I would be surprised if it's a stuck injectior as it only has 160 hours on it. I will note that I can crack the injector line on #3 cylinder while it's running and I get a good amount of bubbles before I get a steady flow of diesel. And anytime I reopen it I will get bubbles. I've ran it over an...
Just upgraded my factory fuel filter to a racor model for better filtration and for the water separator. Once I got the lines bled and the engine running it's only firing on the first two cylinders. Third cylinder is dead, I've cracked all the fuel lines and I'm getting fuel every time but just...
Yeah I plan on weighing both tractors one of my next off days. Was just wondering if anyone has went through this before, even with a single tractor I would just double the weight.
Any basic gooseneck options I should be looking for?
Hey everyone, I'm looking into selling my 18' bumper pull and getting a gooseneck trailer to haul my tractor and equipment among other things. I need some opinion's with what I'm trying to do.
I want to haul my L3800 4WD with loader and my dads L3650 2WD NO loader both with implements. Measured...
I have a Viper Elite 5000lb wide spool mounted in between the brush guard of my L3800. Its a tight fit between winch and the hood opening and the hawse fair lead and the loader support. Also added tow hooks for the ability to use snatch blocks as the wide spool version has 65' of rope.
Are the blades swinging freely on the stump jumper? Usually after hitting something the blades will be pushed back and will wobble until you speed it up or slow it down until they straighten out to balance out. I'll usually idle the tractor down with the pto engaged, disengage the pto, set...
I have two 5 gal No-spill fuel cans. Works great to be CARB compliant. Only issue is they take a while to empty, probably 3-5 minutes never really timed it though. I sit them on my loader frame and just hold the button down to dispense the fuel.
That's similar to one I installed on my L3800. I believe most are rated at 10amps. I installed mine on the right side of the dash. For my wiring I have 6awg wires from the battery to a 100amp relay triggered by the ignition switch going into a 6 slot fuse block also under the dash, and a 10 amp...
You can either way, but probably with a chipper I would idle down before switching the pto lever.
Just a tip guessing you haven't used a pto before always have the tractor off when hooking and unhooking the pto shaft. A tractor even at idle has enough power at the pto to grab you and roll you...
How much experience do you have with a bush hog? They can really take a beating but they are not indestructible. I'm guessing the rocks are big enough to hit the blades, there is nothing you can really do but I would go slowest possible cutting unknown ground. I've hit a chain link fences...
That link is a pretty good deal for those who don't want to deal with wiring. I'd suggest learning how to simple wiring projects so it will help you later troubleshooting problems.
I didn't drill into my ROPS I mounted a 12" and 20" light bar with u bolts and flat bar. The simplest and cleanest...
Looking at it I can see, two plugs, one ball valve, two nipples, and one 90 degree barb fitting and one 45 degree barb fitting. Does that sound about right? What size barb fittings did you use or what size did you measure the fuel line to be? Thanks
