    Completely draining front axle fluid L3800

    Kubota calls it a plug, I would call it a cap or some sort. It's on the bottom of the bevel gear housing. I didn't take any pictures of the process changing it out I probably should have though. Yes mine has two drain plugs, one on each bevel gear housing, one fill plug and one check plug.

    L3800 - What Size Disk

    Bumping this to the top. Local tractor dealer(not Kubota) said I would risk burning up the HST pump by trying to pull a disc to large for my tractor. Any more input with pulling a 16x20 disc with a HST?

    Problem with that is most of my tractor work is for food plots, which most are under 1/4 acre. Some places are only as wide as the tractor itself.

    I have the same tractor as the OP. Pulled a 4 foot last year no problem. I have looked at the 6 1/2 foot disc at the dealer in Monroeville, seems solid. Good to hear that ours can pull one that size.
