NIW is most likely correct, however a faulty/broken spool valve could also be a possibility. Depending on access to your valve connections you may be able to quickly reverse the two hose connections to the ram to help diagnose the problem before removing the ram from the machine.

The dealers will have the correct attachment information, and I expect with most model/series changes there are generally some minor change in linkages, attach points or similar, which make them incompatible. So for direct fit, there may be some discrepancies, whether you can or need to adapt...

Follow the heavy wire and see where it goes. Ideally there should be a heavy ground to the motor and the chasiss. However they may go to the chassis then elsewhere ground the engine. Full service manual will probably have diagrams in it...

Any mice in your area, when cranking different or bigger vibrations shaking a rubbed thru cable or chewed thru cable to ground. Does that one fuse feed the OPC timer, solenoid relay, solenoid, seat switch, PTO switch, HST switch, or is the timer relay/solenoid separate? Definitely the timer...

Pull the timer relay and give it a try, start isolating parts of the circuit to pin point it. Then try opc timer, etc. If you can isolate the fault trace wire for damage. Disconnect solenoid for start as well.

When it hits the flywheel does the starter motor continue spinning? I would check the starter bolts are tight, if they are, pull the starter and check the drive gear and plunger or helix drive action. Lubrication may solve it, may not, depending on where the problem is, either not throwing...
