Sometimes if you have a look at the rust pattern on the end of the crankshaft and the back of the flywheel you'll be able to pick up a corresponding pattern.

AFAIK, normally the flywheel can go anywhere, the timing marks are on the timing gears, camshaft gear, fuel pump gear on the other end of the engine. This particular model may be inherently different for some reason, I haven't checked. Do you have a manual for it?

Good luck. I thought you did a typo in your OP and have an operator manual and not a parts manual. Are there substantial differences between a B and a BL? I'd still go to a hydraulics shop or surplus center for hoses.

These are listed in G6200 series lawn tractors, go to https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ for illustrated parts diagrams Once you have your part numbers, plug them into messicks or colemans website and see how you fare.

I would wash the whole area down and throw some talc on it and establish exactly where the oil is coming from before speculating on how to repair. YMMV.

Re: Help with B7800 Pedal Retrun Issue Looking at the parts manual it appears there is an adjustable collar on the shaft, which if set wrong, or if slipped, may give you the current symptoms. I would guess there is a standard procedure for the neutralization/centering of this collar...

It's unfortunate that the manufacturers are getting better at foiling attempts to get longevity and cheap use from their products. I used to buy wholesale aftermarket replacement ink cartridges and distribute them to a small farming community 25 years ago, before the availability of ebay etc...

Check that the decompression lever is fully returned, it may have been pulled when it didn't start last time and may be stuck in that position. Follow the cable back to the tappet cover and manually operate it to ensure it's not holding the valves open.

The lubrication quality of that oil at high temps wouldn't be very good, here's hoping it continues to run OK and not burn too much. Oil is cheap, personally I'd use the oil you have in it now for 5 ~ 10 hours as a flushing/cleaning agent and drop it again. YMMV.

Or you can leave it as it is, and each time you check, shove it in a bit further to make the oil level the same, probably what the last person did! If the oil light was on before, it doesn't sound good...............

Spend some buck$ and get a new one as NIW mentioned, less grief in the long run, especially if anybody else uses or checks it.

What part number is listed, I had a quick look and it appears a superceded one may be available?

As you been running with sticks, remove and reseat all of your quick connect couplings including the ones on the hoe. Also check that any selector valves you have for FEL/HOE/3pt are correctly orientated.
