As a dad, I wish I could laugh at that.
"I'm not sleepy...." as he stumbles down the hallway.
"Dude, it's been 2 minutes since you last came out here and said that!"
In the spring the young woodpeckers like to bang on the soffits and stuff to make as loud a noise as they can trying to attract mates.
This stuff actually works really well. Probably only need it out for a month or two, just to get past that time where your house looks like an appealing place...
This weekend is the last chance I have to go get my camper (travel trailer, 25') before I want to use it in 3 weeks. I didn't have anywhere to park it, so I had to get the tractor out and move 18" of dense, wet snow. It's really looking like a muddy mess right now, but I'm hoping over the next...
Ditto. I measured 9" on the deck that was bone dry not 24hrs earlier. It was 40° by the time I got around to blowing it. I'm lucky I didn't have to clean out any clogs.
They're doodling everything these days. It started with the labradoodle and exploded from there. Labradoodles, golden doodles, aussie doodles... I think I've seen something like a bichon doodle... I'm surprised the pit doodle isn't all the rage these days.
I tried to convince my wife to go for a lab after my Freya died last fall. She had her mind set on a doodle. So, we compromised and got a couple aussie doodles (sisters). F1b if I remember correctly. I mean, they're sweeties and I love them, but they're no labs.
Yeah. I guess I'm not quite to that much snow... Maybe a foot to 18". Nothing I can't drive over. Driveway is just slushy mud, though. Or is it muddy slush?
I like how everybody has to stay out of the woods for fear of getting stuck in the mud. Where I am the woods are the firm part. I need to stay out of the driveway to keep from rutting it up. I was thinking about trying to scrape some of the granular snow off of the driveway, but it's real...
I'd probably count as pretty young, but even I know what that is. I knew how to read it at one point. Now every time I grab it I have to retrain myself. I prefer the dial. Still no batteries, slightly less robust, but way WAY easier to read.
