Help installing block heater - B7100

The dealer (multiple dealers, really) had no idea what heater to use. Every part number was discontinued. The part number I got was from NIW here. As far as if it will fit, there's a heater and an adapter. The element of the heater doesn't extend into the block past the adapter, so no problem...

Help installing block heater - B7100

Howdy all, about to install my block heater and before trying to get the freeze plug out I wanted to double check my adapter size. It sure seems super tight and I just wanted to double check before draining the system. The adapter appears to be 1.25 inches. Can anybody confirm the freeze plug...

    D722 in a b6100

I don't know the answer to that, but I'm sure somebody here does. Sounds like maybe a Wolfman question to me. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Smart guy, lawyers or LEOs

In MI you can generally set the cruise for 9 over and never get bothered. That's pretty much what I do and never gotten a ticket in my 16 years of driving. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

How big of a dirt scoop for a B6200 HST?

If you're good with the scoop you'll be able to make the front end pretty dang light, but it's hard to get that far. It'll be easy to not scoop too much. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk Edit: typo

Bent 3 point arm, and other questions B2650

You're going to need more than a hammer for that. If you don't heat it up red hot you can swing a hammer all day without getting anywhere. But yeah, you can straighten that up and it'll be good as new. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Starting a b6100

Sounds totally normal to me as well. My 7100 is a little picky in cooler weather. Doesn't even have to be below freezing to need it for 10 seconds or so. I have a block heater, just haven't installed it yet. I would really suggest one of those, otherwise you may use up all your battery juice...

First Time Tractor: Some advice please?

A thought on implements. Consider getting stuff that is quick hitch compatible. You may not worry about a quick hitch now, but if you ever do decide you want one it'll make your life easier. And I think it helps resale value, too. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Is 1000lbs to much

Remember to allow for water to drain easily. It'd be a shame to have tools and chains in there sitting in a couple inches of water.

Results of my new scientific study are in...

Yeah, I gotta say 35-38 degrees straight up or down I think is pretty dang significant. I would definitely need new pants after a side slope of that.

    Raising my driveway...

That is freakin awesome. Maybe you could come up to Michigan to do my driveway... Around here if you did something like that anywhere near the road the road commission would have a fit. Well, I suppose, if they knew about it, anyway. I've been working on filling my driveway in a bit and it's...

First Time Tractor: Some advice please?

Since you're planning on having horses I would lean towards an L. You'll be moving alot more stuff than you'd think, what, with all the hay and manure and whatnot. And chances are you will run into instances where your tractor is physically too small or light before you run into the instance...

    Making wood pellets

Built the house new and built it in. I've just always known wood heat and it seemed like the only choice. In my previous house I was burning several thousand $ worth of propane a year, but it was also poorly insulated. But hey, I get the wood for free and I like being able to be self sufficient...

    Making wood pellets

I've got an hs Tarm solo innova wood boiler. Haven't spent a dime (save saw and splitter gas money) on heating the house or water for a couple years now. It definitely takes some time and energy to get that heat, but if rather work at home than put in more hours at work so I can afford other...

Is ballast box needed for snow removal?

I wouldn't be surprised if the ballast box would help with your traction. Snow is slippery. But it's easy enough to put on and take off, no sense in not trying it out both ways. See how you like it either way. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    B6100 owners, identify mystery wire

If it isn't connected to anything there shouldn't be any current. Voltage is what you should be measuring. Apologies if this was just a word mixup. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
