I don't have a loader and am looking at a dirt scoop for my 3 ph. Most of them are 30", but there are a couple of 24" available. I'm wondering how much scoop this 'ole tractor will take and deliver giving adequate front weight.

I bought/used a 24" on an 18 HP Ford and wish I bought the 30". I found it a great tool for the price.

With the 24" front weight was never an issue.

If you're good with the scoop you'll be able to make the front end pretty dang light, but it's hard to get that far. It'll be easy to not scoop too much.
