Fuel Filters on the BX series

85Hokie, I was sure at the end you would mention cancelling your fitness membership because of exercise received, and fees would pay for all parts!!:D Remember boredom always leads to problems. The whole chore might be a PITA, but gotta be a high level of satisfaction when it's all done. Good...

Distributing "playground" wood chips with tractors

If you need the "rake" ( or any other implement)to stay at a particular elevation, since you're working on flat ground you can attach a couple of chains where your top link attaches to the tractor and then at the 3pt pins. I made these brackets to hold my flail mower at one height while I was...

    going price for loading tires?

Not sure what you're referring to as "liquid rubber". Methanol is probably referring to windshield washer fluid. Kubota dealer probably uses beet juice, also referred to as RimGuard. http://www.rimguard.biz/ You can buy -20 windshield washer fluid (in the Spring of the year) for $1 a gallon...

It's the small things that drive me crazy

I'd suggest learning where your bucket is level by the location of the iron on the top of the bucket, however it is built. Watch the results directly behind the bucket as you move forward as you use it, and make small adjustments as necessary. By doing this you will, with enough seat time...

Distributing "playground" wood chips with tractors

I'd suggest for them to back as far as possible and spread as they pull out. Most drivers are good enough with gravel, if you have them spread with their truck you wouldn't have to do anything. But with this product you may need other options. This home made tool will outwork a whole team...

    Fuel Bowl for a B7001

Marine1975, welcome to the forum, and based on your moniker I thank you for your service. Your tractor is , most likely, actually a B7100. The number you listed is always a point of confusion, a part of the serial number. You local dealer will have the bowl, or you can order through these...

Any info on possible grey machine

What happened to the sheet metal? Kind of odd, no sheet metal and a luxury seat! What transmission does it have? Looks like a GST. Just looking at the pictures it has a very similar layout to the L3250 I just parted with. Alternator, regulator, air box, air intake all look identical. So...

I agree with Ktech101, but I think I'd also put a cover over the exhaust outlet.

Broken axle on Burkeen trencher, are they still in business?

Here's another link that may help. http://www.replacementdiggingparts.com/BOBCATMODELindex.html Melroe was before Bobcat. They became one in early '80's I think. My skid steer is a Bobcat 825, but actually the label is Melroe.

Broken axle on Burkeen trencher, are they still in business?

100 td, here's what I came up with. However that may just be the same name and they are in the construction business. Maybe they know something about the trenched by the same name? https://www.constructionequipment.com/company/burkeen-manufacturing-co

    L3650 Steering Box

Pau7220, looks like you gave it a second life! Nice job!! I had a similar problem on a special U-joint on a hay bind. I ended up welding with a nickle rod and grinding with a dremel wheel. Took some time but it's still together, 12 years later. Some folks just do not know when to quit when...

    B26 bent quick attach rod

Just need to pull it back out! If your apprehensive about it, put a piece of angle iron (like from a bed rail) about 18" long on the back side then wrap a chain around that. Attach the other end of the chain to a tree, or the ball on a pickup, gently ease back until you're satisfied.

    Roading A Tractor

My brother is a pilot. He told me several years ago, if you're ever driving down the highway and you see a plane trying to land, he has the right of way! I always figured I'd give it to him whether he had it or not!
