    I misinterpreted his plan. I thought he was going to augment the 3pt mount with the subframe by rigging something up to make it half arse...:rolleyes:

    Do yourself a favor...and do not use a 3 pt backhoe...you WILL wreck something. The 3 pt is just not beefy enough to handle the torque and pounding that the BH will generate. Get a subframe...you will not regret it...

    I have welded on mine many times...no issues. Some say to disconnect the battery... Grind a good ground spot close to your work...at least that works for me.

    L2800 with starting trouble

    Every time I had starting problems it was a safety switch. The seat was the normal problem...followed by the shifter safety switch making sure it is in neutral... My take is start there...then maybe the jump of the starter...but mine was always a safety switch issue...

    I have the M18...makes greasing a breeze...and eliminates the excuse not to do it... I have the M12 as well and use marine grease in that one for trailers, boats and outboards... No way I ever grease with anything else any more...
