    Cab Mirror Mod

Cab Mirror Mod My mirrors were often coming in contact with limbs and folding in on the door making them hard to open and get out of the tractor. This also rendered the mirrors useless until I got out and repositioned them. I decided to reverse them and put them in front of the windshield to...

Kubota refuses to honor my 5 Year Emissions Warranty on my B3350

I have skimmed through this thread and my first question is whether the unit is or was under warranty at the time this was submitted to Kubota. 2024 - 2019 = 5 years so it depends on the month the unit was put into service. In other words if the OPs father took delivery in February 2019 and the...

Pump for 5 gallon hydraulic fluid cans. Anyone recommend one.

I have used a cheap 12V fuel pump to transfer hydraulic fluid before. Not fast but it worked. https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Transfer-Universal-Pressure-2-5-4psi/dp/B07JPDZC4M/ref=sr_1_3?sr=8-3

    New Kubota or Kioti

Have you considered a dedicated commercial mower like a Toro Groundsmaster® 5910? https://www.toro.com/en/product/31699

    Used Kubota

I recently bought a LX3310 cab with the 72" MMM. My land is pretty rough and so far the MMM is working okay on it. I am kind of surprised since the gauge wheels it rides on are half the diameter of the wheels on my finish mower. Time will tell if it holds up though. The small frame of the...

Diesel Fuel storage indoors or outdoors

Tank to pump is clear reinforced vinyl. You can buy it from Lowes or HD. It isn't very flexible so it wouldn't be a good choice for the nozzle end. I plumed the pickup and filter with PVC. Works fine for diesel. Probably wouldn't work for gas. My pump originally came with a rubber hose and...

Diesel Fuel storage indoors or outdoors

I started with 55 gallon steel drums under a shed. I vented the 3/4 NPT holes with air filters. As the fuel levels were used down they would get condensation in them and started to form surface rust. I switched to 55 gallon plastic drums in my barn and one of those split. Fortunately the split...

    Im new

My first piece of advise is don't consider any rebranded tractors. Those agreements tend to come and go and sometimes effect parts availability. Kiote, LS, and TYM all furnish rebranded tractors to various sellers and it's not always easy to know which brands are which. I think even New Holland...

    Lx2620 hst noise vs 2610

How about when using the cruise control? Does that still amplify the whine on the new model?

Extended AC drains on LX3310 Cab

Minor change but a huge improvement. When I mowed my deck would become a muddy mess with the AC draining onto it. I had to wash it after every use because it wouldn't blow off. I had some 3/8" hose barb unions and Tygon tube I used to extend the drains to the rear of the deck. When I finished...

    Engine RPM's while mowing?

I am fairly new to the forum. I have seen several "I'm smarter than you" posts on this forum that are neither relevant or helpful. Seeing it from a moderator may indicate this mentality is deeply seeded and this may not be a place I am comfortable sharing My Knowledge. I am fully aware of how...

    Engine RPM's while mowing?

I merely made a relevant observation that my Kubota's Full throttle setting is what the manual states as the correct RPMs for PTO operation.

    Engine RPM's while mowing?

Whatever! When I pull my throttle lever to fast stop the RPMs go to the prescribed 2500 RPMs.

    Engine RPM's while mowing?

My new to me LX3310 says 2500 RPM is the correct PTO speed. Full throttle is exactly 2500 RPM on the tach. Could be they have adjusted the throttle to prevent over revving.

What is the perfect tractor for you, if you could have any tractor you wanted, and why?

There is no one perfect tractor for me. I have three. In addition to the LX3310 I have a John Deere 4310 with third function for grapple use and a New Holland 575E backhoe for digging operations. The LX3310 is basically just an air conditioned lawn mower.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Did my first mowing with my Kubota LX3310/Swisher combo and it worked great. I started the day tweaking the install on the Kubota's MMM. It wasn't adjusted properly when it was installed and had some parts left bouncing around under the right belt cover. I installed the left off parts and...

belt tension gauge for mower deck?

I've had some issues with the generic belts they are selling at Tractor Supply. The old "Kevlar" belts they use to sell were great. I have some of those that have been running for years. Their new brand doesn't say "Kevlar" on the packaging and they are not lasting for me. Brand name mowers...

Setting up New PTO Slip Clutch, and why

Best take the clutch completely apart to inspect and clean. I bought a tiller from RK that came with the clutch tightened all the way down and had condensation inside. The disc was rusted onto the metal faces. After removing all the bolts I had to beat it apart with a hammer. After cleaning it...

    Rear PTO seal blowing out

For whatever reason the shaft is not protruding far enough out of the bearing for the nut to have full thread engagement.
