I don't understand the hate with the "treadle" pedal.

I think the early design gave it a bad rap. If I remember you had to rest your foot on the early pedal. The newer design lets me still rest my foot on the floor. I haven't had any trouble going back snd forth with my JD. Getting in my backhoe with shuttle shift takes me a minute to adjust.

    Rotary tiller width

Yeah sorry. I have a JD 4310 also and I'm old! Edited for accuracy and completeness.

    Rotary tiller width

Pulled my 6 footer (182.8 cm) forward rotating tiller set at medium depth with my LX3310 Hydro in medium range this year. Fairly hard sand/clay mix soil. Kicked out the occasional root but no problems other than dry and dusty.

    Rotary tiller width

Should be okay with a 145cm forward rotating tiller. I wouldn't try a reverse rotating tiller.

    OK smart guys

You would think the military could hack into one and take control to land it. They say they are car size so you can't just randomly shoot them down over a city. They are all lit up so not trying to hide that's for sure.

Steel building : Magnets for TV antenna on roof...?

I had my outdoor antenna and rotator mounted on the mast left behind from DTT for years. It was on the peak of the garage so just above the building. I got tired of looking at it and one of the connections corroded so it's in the attic now in a fixed position. They are simple and secure and...

    Ok which fuel conditioner ?

Biobor JF here. I treat all delivered fuel in my storage tank when it arrives. No fuel related issues since I started using it. I run 3 different diesel tractors and a diesel generator on the same treated fuel. https://www.biobor.com/products/biobor-jf-diesel/

    Perform DPM on my terms.

EDIT: I just tried it on mine and it would NOT go into parked regeneration. We drove it around until the engine was warm and when doing everything as outlined in the manual for parked regeneration the light wouldn't even come on. I guess when it reads ALL CONDITIONS must be satisfied that...

    Mice

I've been getting by with a single barn cat but I'm afraid I've domesticated him too much. I haven't had a infestation though. I just saw a glowing review on this 5 gallon bucket contraption using peanut butter as bait. It would be easy enough to make but here is a commercial version...

How big a generator do I need to run a Lincoln 220 stick welder.

    LX4020 w/ Versa Turf’s

The different type tires are sometimes listed in different size wheels. According to the specs listed online your tractor should have 12.4-16 on the rear with R4s. The closest thing to the Versa-Turf offered by Kubota is the Goodyear R14. Kubota lists the R14 for the LX4020 in sizes 23x850x12...

    LX4020 w/ Versa Turf’s

Carlisle makes a Versa-turf tire and Galaxy makes a Garden Pro for tractors. Both are radial tires similar to the Goodyer R14. If I had a choice between the 3 brands I would buy Galaxy. Alternately Galaxy Mighty Mow bias ply R3 tires are pretty good. I have them on a 4310 John Deere and they...

    hydraulic hose repair

It's been a while since I needed a hose but I have a Carquest in a neighboring county that only uses Gates brand hose and fittings. So far on my New Holland backhoe they are a third of the NH price and I have it in a day. Unlike another company I use to use none of the Gates hoses have failed.

    Lazer Level

You might look into renting a professional leveling system. The self leveling models with a audible sensor will save you a bunch of time. When I prepped the site for my metal barn I bought a cheap level and tripod from HF. It was bright enough to work on a cloudy day and served the purpose but...
