    WTB Mower for B6000

I don't know much about your tractor, but if a K48 MMM will fit your tractor I have one I may part with. It is driven by the engine crankshaft to a electric clutch. If your motor spins in the opposite direction of a b7100, you can uncross the drive belt to achieve the proper blade spin...

    Hard plastic skid shoes.

Your probably right. Maybe some heavy duty caster type wheels would work....I was thinking about adapting a set to my front blade for the same reasons your having... After using it a few times I realized I liked the fact it scraped the driveway clean. It scraped the concrete a little bit at...

Wow , that's bad bub.... Had to take a picture of this the other day.... When I first saw them walking down my street I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't loosing my marbles :p Can anyone explain this??

    Hard plastic skid shoes.

Have you thought about using something like this bolted on the sides of the blower? http://www.amazon.com/Arnold-490-241-0010-Universal-Deluxe-Throwers/dp/B002MRM6KQ You may need 2 per side.... I'm sure there are other brands out there that make a heavier duty set. I remember seeing them at a...

    B2920 Questions

Thanks for the reply Wolfman, I was thinking in the same direction... That hoe has always worked well for us but mainly used for light duty digging jobs. I've come across a few threads mentioning damage to a 2910 from excess stress. I can't think of something more stressful on a hoe than...

    Please help identify/modify/mount snowplow

I would say it's a b204 also. I would say if there is a will, there's a way to fix it... Having your sub frame short, I believe your blade will come up short too... If you need some measurements to help you out shoot me a PM and I can do it tomorrow.

    Please help identify/modify/mount snowplow

Your blade looks exactly like my b205 except the front lift mount and the sub frame. I just went out in the garage and snapped a few pics.... I agree with lil foot, you may have one for a b5100....

    B2920 Questions

Hello everyone, I have a few questions for all you Orange Wizards out there.... My wife and I are contemplating picking up a B2920 this spring so my father in law can start clearing her old farm land. I was planning on getting a brush hog for my 7100 but I'm afraid the acres of thick brush...

    Let it snow!

It almost looks that way! The wind jiggled the two bottom clips loose, got behind the window, and ripped it in half off she went! I heard a loud noise and opened the front storm door, the wind about ripped he door out of my hands and almost threw my ass out the front door. That would have...

    Let it snow!

We roughly got about 6" of snow from this last storm. Tough to tell, the wind is blowing it everywhere.... The weather says 30 MPH winds, I don't have a wind speed monitor, but I would have to say it's blowing much harder.... It's so bad....it ripped my North Side storm window in half and...

How Much Rear Weight on B2620 with Loader???

I believe a lot of people on here would agree that you should fill your tires with the most weight possible to start with. It will actually give you better traction for mowing and filling the tires will take all of the bounce out of the machine. I've never experienced that until I ran my...

B211 loader subframe pics or description wanted.

It doesn't look like the edges are rolled/folded or have any reinforcement so it's probably fairly easy to do.... If you get that puppy straight I would weld some angle iron across the top to reinforce it... Good luck!

    Harbor Freight Grinder Alert

Grinders are dangerous as hell, it doesn't matter who makes them. An old boss of mine had one with a cutting disk fall apart on him and the blade cut him straight up the front of his body. Wether the grinder falls apart or the disk, it's never a good thing! Never use one without a guard...

Angle Grinder for sharpening rotary mower

I have a Hilti 5" grinder that is 15 years old now, and trust me it's well used and still works great. I like it for using 5" cutting wheels and you don't have to remove the guard off of a 4 1/2. I've gone through a few Dewalt grinders, they don't hold up for what I put them through. For...

    Let it snow!

Looks big enough to ski down to me! Although, I don't ski so I would be opting for the tire tube :D. That's part of the Boston harbor in the background. I saw on the news they were dumping it in the ocean too, that is only one of their snow farms. Technically, by melting it the melted snow...

    Box Blade Build

Sounds like you could really use a FEL too! A metal fab shop should be able to make you a blade for the box with a press beak or a roller.... I would think any fab shop has one or both that are at least 4' wide

    Box Blade Build

Anyone ever use one of these? This may be something a little easier to build out of scrap metal TomCat. They seem pretty handy to have for smoothing out dirt roads from the Tim and Peanut video! Looks like a mini snowmobile trail groomer to me :D...
