    BX2200 Moving Camper

I had a 25' bumper pull that I would move around with the BX 2200. Just remember the brakes on the BX will not be able to stop all that weight. Just go slow and be careful.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

BX-2200; Replaced the two hydraulic hoses that went to the steering cylinder. (Last year replaced the two hoses from the transaxle to the steering control and put in a new transaxle fan) While working on that found a broken wire to a sensor on the right side of the engine and fixed that. Then...

    Box blade for snow?

I know exactly what the problem is, you are using computers :). I worked on computers and more specifically disk drives for 55 years and totally understand. I was not aware of the backup issues and just thought I was going crazy(er) Yes they do a great job and it is a lot of work and I...

    Box blade for snow?

I just don't understand this forum. I saw multiple video's that were posted in this thread yesterday but now they are gone. Is big brother trying to prove me insane?

    Box blade for snow?

Had to go to the dealer yesterday to get power steering hoses. Looked over their Land Pride 48" box blade I like it all except for the price $995. May look around some more. It's funny, I thought I replied to this thread twice with updates, but I don't see them here :( Maybe I'm crazy (...

    Box blade for snow?

I Usually plow with a blade mounted on my loader arms but find it difficult to pull snow away from garage doors. We get nice heavy snow that packs well so is hard to pull back. I was thinking of a back blade but feel it may not be heavy enough for ballast. Then I thought maybe a box blade. I...

Running a new well supply line. What about laying in 4" conduit and pulling the poly & wire through it?

I did that too, but it was an empty conduit at the time. I'm saying if he put a single 4" with a water line and wire, if he tries to add a wire or replace a wire, the conduit is not longer empty and it may be more difficult to get a snake or line through it.

Running a new well supply line. What about laying in 4" conduit and pulling the poly & wire through it?

I've tried to snake a new wire into conduit that already had wire in it, not fun. So if you had the water line and wire in the same conduit you may be defeating your purpose. I think I'd run separate conduit for the wire. Maybe put the water line into it's own conduit also. Then you could...

    BX questions

Not sure I'd agree with using the loader for snow. It is slow. I have a front mounted blower and a blade that mounts on my loader arms. I use the blade almost exclusively. If we've had a lot of snow in the winter, I may change to the blower, but it is slow. I will use the bucket only to...

PTO driven stump grinder for small tractors

While I don't have a tractor PTO grinder, I have had a 4 cylinder Vermeer and currently have a Bluebird walk behind. I watched the video on the woodland mills website and have a couple of comments. 1. Since you are up in the tractor seat you may have trouble judging just how much you are...

GCK60 Mice ate my bags work in progress

The title says it all. Priced the bags from Kubota and remembered how much fun it was to empty the bags. I removed the top and the bag hanging frame from the GCK60. Built a frame that bolts up to where the hanging frame mounted. Bought the skins from two used top loader washing machines...

BX18 + Rear Blade vs. ATV Snow Clearing

I have a Kubota with a blower or a front mounted blade. I use the blade almost exclusively as it is much faster. If we get a year with lots of heavy snow, then I switch to the blower mid year. Lots of trees, so I almost always go through a shear pin or two with the blower on downed branches...

    BX2200 A couple issues

The original BX2200 had a dynamo that would charge with a whole 7 amps? They made a kit to install an alternator on it. There aren't a lot of safety interlocks, the two that comes to mind are it has to be in neutral and the pto disengaged.

ROPS Canopy / Roof Project / Lights / Fan

NHSleddog, Now what you have to do is to put a radiator above that fan and feed it engine coolant in the winter :) BTW, I love the idea of a fan up there. Just called a friend of mine and told him to put one on his canopy. I have a home made cab.

BX Folks: Looking For Photos of Your Destroyed Hydro Fan

DIdn't even know there was a problem. Had to take it all apart to replace the steering hydraulic hose. Saw this funny piece of plastic and then realized that at one time it was a fan. You can just use it, no need for credits :)

    12V aux hydraulic spool

I am not a hydraulic expert but as I understand it: The return port on a valve normally can only handle maybe 300 PSI. The port that can only handle the 300# is usually called the 'tank return'. The power beyond port can handle full pressure. If you find a valve that the output port can handle...

Adjusting the hood on a BX?

A lot of times adjustment is just by bending it. I have the same issue on my BX2200 but haven't gotten around to try it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The other day I said I used my BX2200 to load logs onto a sawmill. Here are some photos.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had a portable sawmill come in. Loaded the logs onto it and then hauled the milled wood into the back yard to sticker and stack. Just a little BX2200 with forks and quick attach from mytractortools.com. I am really impressed with what the BX can do.

    Bro-Tek wheel spacers . . Any Experiences??

I don't know who made my wheel spacers, but I had an issue. I have a BX2200 with a mid mount mower. When I put the 2" spacers on, one rear wheel hit one of the wheels on the mower. So if you have a MMM, check to see if the wheels moving out will interfere with the mower anti scalping wheels
