I am considering these for my L3800 . . Does anyone have any experience with them? They are $320 shipped. How do they compare with the Bora spacers from MotorsportTech.com??

I can only say that Bro-Tek spacers are very well made, I have no personal experience with those made by Bora.

I have no experience with the Bora either, only Bro-Tek. Seems like it's very well made. No problems with anything. I also bought the front spacers.

I'll second and third everyone......spacers from Bro-tek are awesome, I too have no experience others. Bought mine and put them in place, I see as good insurance, money well spent! One day I am going to place them on the front too. I dont think you will be disappointed !

Thanks fellas, I ordered the Bro-Tech spacers for my L3800 a few days ago. They should be here by the end of the week. I think am going to have my dealer install them when he installs the new BH77 backhoe. After speaking to the service manager, she wants two hrs labor for the spacer install. Gonna speak to the salesman and see if'n he cant include that in the $7800.00 cost of the backhoe . .

Now I know why you guys call them "Stealerships" . .

Not familiar with the Bora product but purchased a set of 1.25" rears for my BX25dlb and was quite impressed with the workmanship. Easily installed(20min a wheel). Now have space to use chains. Literally just had a set of 2" rears arrive for my son's L2501 as a Christmas present. He wants to chain tires as well. Richard and the guys at Bro-tec are great to deal with and are fast getting the purchases to you.

PS This may seem like a ad but it's just from a happy customer.

Bro-Tek spacers are quality units. Customer service is great! Just e-mail Rich at Bro-Tek @ bro-tek@hotmail.com and he will confirm what which ones will work with your tractor.

I have Bro-tek spacers on my B3200 to allow more clearance for snow chains. They are well made and easy to install. The hardest part is removing and manipulating the wheels and tires. The spacers have been on there 4 years with no issues.

I don't know who made my wheel spacers, but I had an issue. I have a BX2200 with a mid mount mower. When I put the 2" spacers on, one rear wheel hit one of the wheels on the mower. So if you have a MMM, check to see if the wheels moving out will interfere with the mower anti scalping wheels

Like others i don"t have any experience with Bora. I have Brotech and i'm sure you will be happy with them. I installed them myself in about an hour but i have a little Tractor. $200.00 sounds like a lot.

Another warning about front wheel spacers:
My B7610 front tires hit the FEL mount pillars at full excursion.

I put the 3" Bro-Tek on my L3560HSTC in Sept. and it made a world of difference with my chains and with all the hills on my property I have much more stability in the tractor. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again if I had to.

A few weeks ago I was having traction problems with my L3901. The R4 tires had no grip and there was no space inside the fenders. I called my dealer looking to buy a full set of R1 tires and wheels. So frustrated. He suggested a common fix being used on the L series/R4 tractors. I got 2" spacers for front and back plus some hefty v bar chains all around. The spacers are Bro tek on back and Bora for the front. Great spacers. Biggest challenge was the rear tires (filled) I used a furniture dolley to move them, put on the spacers. The project went smooth. I have no chain interference with the fenders. Those aggressive v bar chains dig and I have plenty of traction. The width increase with filled tires feels very stable. Absolutely no complaints. Except $$$ spacers and heavy chains lightened my wallet by $1000.
