That looks like a great find. Often wish I had a trailer.

    What's cookin' boys?

I’ve been absent from the thread a while. This smells awesome uncooked with fresh garlic , thyme and rosemary. Just a 6+ # chicken and veggies. Will roast at a “convection roast” setting at 400 for a while then reduce to 325 until everyone in the pool is happy.

    L3301 Crank but no start

Not familiar with your tractor but lack of power to the lift pump sounds like it could be a safety switch. Make sure the PTO lever is off and the HST pedal is centered. Try Kubotabooks.com for a workshop manual (WSM). EDIT - I overlooked that it cranks. Usually a safety switch problem will...

    What would you do?

Like RC and Jimmy say - - it's very dependent on your needs/wants/expectations. I'm 6'4" and don't feel cramped by my BX. I just wish it had more lift for the FEL and 3PH. On a couple occasions, I wish I got a backhoe. Would an MX work for me - no. An L or Grand L - probably not. B or...

    p0605

If you don't have one, I'd suggest you get a Workshop Manual (WSM) for your tractor. I'm of no help, but the WSM will likely be of help.

    What would you do?

I’ve had a BX2360 for many years. It’s done a lot of work including dirt, stone, snow and mowing Love it. That said I readily admit I should have gotten a B-series 11 years ago. I’ve shopped a B2601 a couple times by trading my BX. I couldn’t justify the expense versus the nominal increase...

    Sometimes I'm Not Very Smart

I did it again.... Don't use LocTite a lot but used it up while back. Last week walked by it at TSC. Went to put it away.....

    The cost of getting old

I stopped at local liquor store this morning for 2 boxes of wine; a Chardonnay and a Burgundy we keep on hand for cooking. Really - just use the boxed wine for cooking….😉 Last quite a while. Clerk is a nice lady my age I recognize but don’t know. After she rang me up I jokingly pointed at the...

    B2620HSD will not start

Just so I/we understand correctly: The tractor was on its side for an hour. After recovery and you got it on 4 wheels, you pretty much started it immediately? Did you pull glow plugs or injectors prior to starting it the first time?

    Fall was short this year

Wow - that’s pretty stout. Saw your area was getting snow on Weather Channel. Sometimes people poke fun at me for converting the tractor from mowing duty to snow operations so early. I could point them at your picture….. We’ve had some pretty good snow storms before Thanksgiving many times...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

@Russell King - - that's hilarious! Thanks for the laugh!! I noticed that reflection looked kinda weird too....;) Didn't come up with Alien, but fitting! The Mrs. might agree most days....

Not worthy of a thread but ran the generator under a small load for 30 minutes. Like that it shows volts, frequency, hours total and hours for a session.

    Tire chains for a 2024 Kubota BX1880

I don’t think I’ve bought from them but lot of folks use www.tirechain.com I just use ladder chains on rears;,some do all four. A BX doesn’t have a lot of space in the wheel well. Many guys like to put spacers on. I haven’t but many do.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Those implements probably look like toys for you guys with bigger tractors. If you’ve been on OTT for a while you may have seen my complaints about the OEM top link on BX tractors a decade ago. I replaced OEM a long time ago, but needed one a little shorter for my back blade. This is the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Not much. Brought box and back blades next to the house on a patio for winter. They’re usually stored on the North 40 a ways away. Not good if we get 3 feet of snow. I can blow snow right up to them, turn around and hook up. Sometimes I need back blade for wet slushy snow. Sometimes I want...

    The cost of getting old

One of my favorites for firewood. Lots of ash has been harvested over recent years due to EAB. Last I knew price was still holding decent at about $400/Mbf.

    Battery powered fuel transfer pump?

I don’t have the Amazon link, but this one has been good for a couple years. Does almost 5 gpm as I recall. Just pumped out a 5 gallon can recently. Went pretty quick.
