b7510 pto will not turn off

BAP brings up a great point. First thing is to troubleshoot the cause. It's tough to do in that you're just looking to buy the tractor.... Often this type of thing is just a linkage issue...with time, many tractor linkages can get wonky. Not discounting AllDodge's advice at all. Sometimes...

New Grease Gun On The Way.

I see the Dewalt and Lincoln both referenced often and folks like them. Years ago decided on the Milwaukee 18v Fuel set. Bought it from my local welding supplier at a price less than on-line offerings. I have no regrets whatsoever there for the tools I have. Have looked at their grease gun...

    L3430HST

My apologies - skipped that part. Usually I suggest someone look at https://www.machinerypete.com/ or https://www.tractorhouse.com/ to see what folks are ASKING for a similar machine. Asking price doesn't indicate value, but gives you a ballpark.

    L3430HST

I’m not familiar with an L3430, but I believe Kubota HST’s are pretty reliable with maintenance and service per recommendations. Probably an HST isn’t the best for tillage work, but excels at loader work. The xx30-series was pre-tier IV emissions, so not a worry. There’s a couple guys here...

    Relocate a Concrete Slab

Wow - - excellent to move that with just a small corner broken!! Like skeets - - I'd a had it in a bunch of little pieces.

New Grease Gun On The Way.

Yes, they come up here often. Many guys like them. I can get recessed fittings like your 'hoe picture without a problem with the LNL. Some of my FEL fittings are recessed below a drilled hole in the lift arms. The holes aren't very big. Oh gosh, as far as hand lever guns, got that right and...

    Relocate a Concrete Slab

I've got to say it..... No pictures means it didn't happen! Seriously, even without pictures sounds like a greatly executed plan! Good for you.

New Grease Gun On The Way.

Ford - I can't speak to backhoe pins, but there are few very zerks I can't get with my LNL and a cheapo Campbell Hausfeld pneumatic gun. Just a wild guess the OD is 5/8-11/16 or so. For$30, I think they're steep, but honestly really like mine.

On This Day in 1945, Japan Released Me from a POW Camp. Then US Pilots Saved My Life

I used to know a fellow who's specialty was tuning B-29's. He was on the Enola Gay Mission. He said he had a color polaroid camera at the time, and took a picture of Tibbetts, crew, and Enola Gay the day of the mission. From his own mouth, I heard him say he drove that photo to the...

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

Joe - - like you, I'm not too slick at this stuff either, but my original question was how this is being fed fuel, especially if it's just on a stand and not in a tractor, etc. If this IP is supposed to to have 2-3 psi of fuel on it's inlet, could cause what he's talking about. Could be many...

Delco Remy Starter Restoration - - 1953 Minneapolis Moline, and many others.....

The commutator cover band is a mess. Been swatted a few times and rusty. I would have a couple hours trying to fix it up. For $19, I couldn’t pass it up.

Delco Remy Starter Restoration - - 1953 Minneapolis Moline, and many others.....

I think I have a better understanding of how the Bendix mounts to the shaft. The end cap slides 1/2” or so on the shaft. It’s actually held in place by the nose cone. New one: Here’s the internal part of the new Bendix. Looks like one of the set screws is tight to the motor shaft, the...

Delco Remy Starter Restoration - - 1953 Minneapolis Moline, and many others.....

I finished rounding off the original set screw myself when I took the starter off. It’s just a 5/8-11 bolt with a lock/jam nut. They’re not to be found OEM, and a JD was $18 in poorer shape. My replacement actually fits in the cone better. Maybe 50 cents. Should I use grade 2 or 5 instead...

Delco Remy Starter Restoration - - 1953 Minneapolis Moline, and many others.....

I'm taking things out of my original order....just as I get to them. As far as shimming, pinion gear depth, etc., I don't think there's any room for adjustment. This starter is mounted by one tapered "set screw" into the "barrel/housing" the starter slides into. The set screw engages a...

    Still baffled--water getting in gearbox

Huh - didn't realize they were one way....learn something new everyday. Certainly does makes sense. Probably same idea for gearboxes on my MMM and snowblower auger drive? Hope bx tractorjoe is right and that fixes it!

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

Is the engine currently mounted in a tractor, generator, etc., or is it on a stand by itself? If it's on a stand, how is fuel being fed to it when you try to start it? Many applications require a low-pressure lift pump to feed fuel to the Injection Pump. If the engine isn't installed in...

    Still baffled--water getting in gearbox

Your gearbox is vented. Daily warming/cooling introducing humidity into the box, then it condenses? Would be similar scenario to a vented fuel tank introducing water. Just a guess. Don't know quantity of water you pulled out of it.

    1999 L2500 Engine oil capacity

Common question with oil/fluid changes. It won't take the stated capacity when I refill.... I think we either don't get all of it out, or the stated capacity is for dry (new) equipment. Either way, sometimes they take a whisker less than spec. My BX takes a little less oil and hydraulic...

David- - thanks again for the guidance!👍 I’ve got this foolish “work” thing that gets in my way. Hopefully will get back to it some after work this week.
